Bill of Quantities(BOQ) for Kagmara Panchanantala to Domjur Muslim Para Via: Fokors shop, Joychanditala Football ground--1 Pavement 1.01 Clearing and Grubbing Road Land Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting wild vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees of girth upto 300 mm, removal of stumps of such trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned, upto a lead of 1000 m including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness as per Technical Specifications Clause 201 for Rural Roads of MORD By Manual Means In area of non-thorny jungle 1.02 Construction of Subgrade and Earthen Shoulders Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of Table 300.2 with lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 303.1 for Rural Roads of MORD. (Borrow pit /pre work post work measurement) Using 1 cum Compensation for earth for land owned and arranged by Contractor, 1 cum Royalty charge & Cesses Charges on earth, 1 cum Carriage up to total lead of 1.0 km. 1.03 Construction of Sub Base using Local Materials: Construction of Sub Base using Local Materials, spreading in uniform layers with Motor grader on prepared surface, including screening the metal as necessary, mixing by mix in place method with Rotavator at OMC, and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, lighting, guarding and barricading including cost and carriage of all materials and making necessary earthen bundh of one metre wide on each side to protect the edges complete as per Clause 401 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). For Construction of Sub Base by compacting 1st class brick aggregates (40 mm down) and sand (in proportion of 60:40). Using 0.9 cum Brick Aggregates (40 mm down), 0.48 cum Medium Sand (Grading Zone II as per IS:383- 1970) stacked at site. 1.04 Water Bound Macadam Base Course Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing,rolling with vibratory roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening / binding materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering including lighting, guarding, barricading and making necessary earthen bundh of one metre width on each side and preparing the bed by necessary cutting or filling, including cost of all materials and hire and labour charges of all men and machinery and compacting to the required density, as per Clause 404 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). Manual Means (ii) Grading-I Aggregate (63 mm to 45 mm) Using Stone Screening Type B (11.2 mm) Using 1.21 cum Grade - I (63 - 45mm) Stone Aggregates ( Pakur Variety ), 0.24 cum Stone Screening Type - B ( Pakur Variety ) 1.05 Water Bound Macadam Base Course Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing,rolling with vibratory roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening / binding materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering including lighting, guarding, barricading and making necessary earthen bundh of one metre width on each side and preparing the bed by necessary cutting or filling, including cost of all materials and hire and labour charges of all men and machinery and compacting to the required density, as per Clause 404 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). Manual Means (iii) Grading-II Aggregate (53 mm to 22.4 mm) Using Stone Screening Type B (11.2 mm) Using 1.21 cum Grade - II (53 - 22.4 mm) Stone Aggregates ( Pakur Variety ), 0.24 cum Stone Screening Type - B ( Pakur Variety ) 1.06 Panelled Cement Concrete Pavement : Construction of Panel concrete pavement 100mm thick with M30 grade concrete over a properly prepared and cambered Sub base having CBR value not less than 20 with 43 grade cement (OPC) or any other type as per clause 1,141.38 1501.2.4 of Specification for Rural Roads. Coarse and fine aggregates conforming to IRC 44 &IS 383 alongwith cement are to be mixed in a concrete mixer having capacity not less than 0.2 cum and appropriate weigh batcher using approved mix design as per IRC44-2088. Concrete preferably having a slump of about 70 to 80mm with use of approved plasticizer if required shall be laid in approved fixed side formwork(steel channel, laying and fixing of 125 micron thick polythene sheet over the Sub base layer, wedges, steel plates including leveling the formwork) spreading the concrete with shovels, rakes, compacted using needle/screwed/plate vibrators and finished in continuous operation including provision construction joints using bonding agents and expansion joints applying debonding strips, primer,sealant,dowel bars,near approaches to bridge and culverts complete. Surface of the pavement should paneled of size 500mmX500mm having a distinct groove of about 3mm wide and/or 1/3rd the depth of concrete using diamond saw immediately on the next day morning of the previous days casting of M30 grade concrete including lighting, guarding, barricating etc. complete. After cutting the grooves the concrete should be well cured for at least 14 days for achieving proper strength as per direction of Engineering-in-charge. If required casting of pavement may be taken up in appropriate width of the carriageway in phases to allow uninterrupted movement of padestrians and light vehicular traffic. Consturction wing will add cost of 360 kg. of cement, 0.45 cum of coarse sand, 0.54 cum of 22.4mm stone chips and 0.36 cum of 11.2mm stone chips, 6.88kg Bitumen Primer, 27.48 Kg Bitumen sealant and 3% for form work and curing over cost of materials to arrive complete rate per cum. Using 0.54 cum 20 mm Nominal graded Stone aggregate ( Pakur Variety ), 0.36 cum 10 mm Nominal graded Stone aggregate ( Pakur Variety ), 360 kg OPC (43 Grade), 0.45 cum Coarse Sand (Grading Zone I as per IS: 383- 1970) stacked at site. 1.07 Dry Lean Cement Concrete Sub- base Construction of dry lean cement concrete Subbase over a prepared sub-grade with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS: 383, the size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm, aggregate cement ratio not to exceed 15:1, aggregate gradation after blending to be as per table 600-1, cement content not to be less than 150 kg/ cum, optimum moisture content to be determined during trial length construction, concrete strength not to be less than 10 Mpa at 7 days, mixed in a batching plant, transported to site, laid with a paver with electronic sensor, compacting with 8-10 tonnes vibratory roller, finishing and curing. (As per clause 601 of specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). Using 0.54 cum 20 mm Nominal graded Stone aggregate ( Pakur Variety ), 0.36 cum 10 mm Nominal graded Stone aggregate ( Pakur Variety ), 0.15 MT PPC / PSC / OPC33
