Tender For Provision Of Screening And Security Fence For Certain Roads Of Chandimandir Mil Stn.; 1 Site clearance in soft/loose soil complete including clearing away all grass vegetation, saplings,shrubs, brushwood, undergrowth, roots, and trees not exceeding 30 cm girth (measured one metre above ground level) and removing rubbish upto a distance of 50 metres outside the periphery of the area under clearance,complete all as specified and directed. 2 Dismantling posts or struts (wood, steel or R.C.C.) any section, including taking out embedded portion in concrete,brick work, masonary ,etc .andmaking good disturbed ground complete all as specified and directed. 3 Taking down existing barbed wire of any description and removal of the same from site complete all as specified and directed. 4 Dismantling fencing wire mesh ,any type ,complete all as specified and directed 5 Preparation of newly plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of cementbase paint over a coat ofprimer complete all as specified and directed. 6 Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each not exc 0.50 cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers n.exc 25cm, watering, and removing surplus soil and making good surface in soft/loose soil etc complete all as specified and directed. 7 Plain cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-2,using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete, all as specified and as directed. 8 Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.50 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth for foundation, laying of cables, pipes, strips and similar items etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pierholes, etc. not exceeding 10 sq. m on plan and n exc 1.5m in depth and getting out complete all as specified and directed. 9 Plain cement concrete( 1:4:8)type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundations, sub base of floor filling and mass concretecomplete all as specified and directed. 10 Brick work with sub class ‘B’ old size bricks of class designation 150, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6.00 mtr mean radius built in cement mortar (1:4) including corbellings etc, raking out joints internally and also externally (above G.L.) for plastering and externally joints pointed flush below ground level in the same mortar as the work proceeds complete all as specified and directed. 11 Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick each in soft/loose soil, complete, all as specified and directed. 12 Removing of surplussoil / excavated material not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed. 13 PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in coping, lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates and the like including weathering, slightly rounded for chamfered angles and throating including use & waste of formwork complete, all as specified and as directed. 14 1. Precast Prestressed Wall Panels (2100×300×50 mm) – Supply, transport and install precast prestressed concrete wall panels of following specification: 15 (a) Size 2100 mm (length) × 300 mm (height) × 50 mm (thickness) (b) M40 grade concrete as per IS 456 and IS 1341. All surfaces of panels to be finished smooth with a fair concrete finish, free of projections. (c) Prestressed tendon of high tensile steel/ wire shall be as per IS 2090 or IS 6006. (d) Each panel (except bottom panel) shall be reinforced with Four nos of 4 mm diameter prestressing wires/tendons (of approved make), stretched at min prescribed elongation through the panel, and provided with 25 mm clear cover. (In cross section 30 mm cover on both sides, cable-to cable spacing 80mm c/c). (e) Each bottom panel shall be reinforced with four nos of4 mm dia prestressing wires/tendons (of approved make), stretched at min prescribed elongation through the panel, and provided with 25 mm clear cover provided two tendons above the weep hole and two tendons below the weep hole(in cross section 30 mm cover on both sides, cable-to cable spacing 80mm c/c, 50 mm weep hole at center). 16 (f) Center to center spacing of weep holes along the wall to be 450 mm (3 nos of weep holes between column to column) with 50 mm dia. (g)Provide PVC or rubber seals in panel joints, if directed by Engineer in charge. Ensure all panels and columns are erected plumb and level using cranes, gantries, chain pulleys or push-pull jacks as required, as per instructions, Perform all grouting, leveling and alignment with non-shrink grout as needed (cost of grout extra if not included above). Following erection, grout/cement-mortar fill (1:4) all gaps at base plates and panel joints to complete the fixing. The work includes supply, transport, unloading, handling, installation, alignment, grouting and final finishing of all components complete as specified and directed. 17 2. Precast Prestressed Columns/Posts– Supply and fix precast prestressed concrete columns with following specifications:- (a) Size 3300 mm × 150 mm × 150 mm ofsection in plan having groove that can fit the panels fixed at 2250 mm center to center. (b)M40 grade concrete for column as per IS 456 . All surfaces of columns to be finished smooth with a fair concrete finish, free of projections.(c)Prestressed tendon shall be as per IS 2090 or IS 6006.(d)Columns shall have prestress wire 7 no. (3 on each flange and 1 in center of web in plan) 4 mm diameter prestressing wires (of approved make), stretched at minprescribed elongation more than the length of column. (e) Work includes grouting around the base plate with 25 mm thick cement mortar (1:4).(f)The column shall be embedded in 450 mm x 450 mm x 1300 mm concrete of 1:2:4 (B1) below NGL. The bottom of prestressed column to be placed over 100 mm thicknessof above mentioned concrete in order to avoid direct contact of steel wires with soil.The footing includes levelling with proper alignment and slump-filling around the base . 18 (g)Each column shall include a bracket assembly on top: one 12 mm dia. anchor bolt (length 300 mm embedded in column) projecting min 50 mm above the column top to fix 100×100×8 mm base plate through washer nut assembly as required .(h)All nuts, bolts, angles and base plates shall be hot-dip galvanized (conforming to IS 2629/IS 4759).(i)Additional column shall be provided at either 15 no. of column or every 300 mm change of ground level. (j)Provide PVC or rubber seals in panel joints, as directed by Engineer in charge. Ensure all panels and columns are erected plumb and level using cranes, gantries, chain pulleys or push-pull jacks as required, as per instructions​, Perform all grouting, leveling and alignment with non-shrink grout as needed (cost of grout to be included in quoted rates). Following erection, grout/cement-mortar fill (1:4) all gaps at base plates and panel joints to complete the fixing.The work includes supply, transport, unloading, handling, installation, alignment, grouting and final finishing of all components complete all as specified and directed. 19 Hand rails, half round or other steel section or core for wooden hand-rail straight portion, drilled and countersunk for balusters running bars, for doors, balusters, nosing to steps including embeding in concrete and screwing etc. wind ties for roof includingsecuring bolts, posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc ; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc) including all necessary drilling bolting or riveting etc, and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and directed 20 Mild steel framed work Fe-410-W(Gde-E-250) quality-A,as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails,braces, etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. Doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging, also fastening andfixing complete, all as specified and directed. 21 Concentrina coil 600mm dia ,56 loops , 2.5mm core wire ,heavy galvanised (wire 275 GSM & Strip 200 GSM ) tensile strength of wire 1400 - 1500 N/Sqmm , weight 6-8 kg/coil , stretchable length6 to 8mm including securing or tying at crossing with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire , staples or steel pins etc complete all as specified and directed. 22 Galvanised 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24 mm dia barbed with 2 mm dia barbs at 75 mm spacings and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including, securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc as directed each line wire to measured) complete all as specified and directed 23 Preparation of new or previously untreated steel surfaces ofany description over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer etc,complete all as specified and directed.
