2Earthwork in excavation of canal byMechanical means in all kinds of soilincluding sand, silt, loam clay mud, stiff and hard clay, hard red earth, shale, stoney earth,gravel, moorum interspread with boulder upto 1/2 cum volume,includingtrimming the slopes and bed to proper profile and transporting useful excavated materials by mechanical means and laying on properly prepared and scientifically approved surface of bank of canal in filling section and spreading the earth in 22.5 cmthick to receive compaction if required useful excavated material for reuse afterward as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge and unuseful soil in spoil bank as required with all leads, lifts, delifts, loading and unloading including cost component and maintenance of coffer dam, diversion arrangement, dewatering and removal of the same after completion of the work including the cost of tools and plants, all materials, all taxes, labour cess,with mobilization and demobilization maintenance charges with all incidental charges to complete the item of work as per design, drawing, specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (Measurement will be taken on finishedlevel section only)
3Excavation work in foundation of structures in both wet and dry conditions from N.S.L to design levels after cleaning shrub jungles, uprooting stumps of all sizes, depositing these debris away from work area with loading, unloading, handling, rehandling and carriage by mechanical means in all kinds of soilwith all leads, lifts, delifts, shoring, shuttering and strutting, including trimming of slopes and bed to design sections along with dewatering the excavated pits, site illumination, diversion roadswhen required and depositing the approved excavated materials in filling sections in layers not exceeding 22.5cm in depth and breaking clods to maximum 5cm to 7cm size and or depositing separately in designated location for reuse and dumping the unutilizable materials in spoil banks or at any other specified dumping yard away from work area in proper section including all cost conveyance of materials machinary, labour including labour cess etc. complete as per approved drawing, specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
4Filling foundation and plinth with coarse sand well watered and rammed below structures foundations to design level, proper line and grade includingcost, carriage, royalty & taxes of all materials, labours, cess and T&P etc. required with all leads, lifts & delifts to complete in all respect as per drawings, specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
5Providing and placing in position Cement Concrete M15 grade with 40mm down graded size hard granite crusher broken stoneaggregateof approved quarry free from weathered skin surface, dust and any other deleterious materials including supply of clean sharp coarse sand of approved quality and approved cement mixedin batching and mixing plant/ concrete mixer, transporting the mixed concrete manually or by mechanical means for laying in proper level and grade on approved surface with cost of all materials, royalties, taxes, labour and hire & running charges of all machineries, T&P and cess etc. including vibrating, finishing, curing, and clearing the site with all leads, lifts and delifts, mobilization and demobilization, site illumination for all materials and dewatering if necessary to complete the work as per approved drawings and specifications anddirection of the Engineer-in-charge.
6Providing and laying in position Cement Concrete (PCC) M25 grade with 20mm down graded sizehard granite crusher broken stone aggregates from approved quarry free from weathered skin surface, dust and any other deleterious materials including supply of clean sharpcoarse sandof approved qualityand approved cement mixedin batching and mixing plant/ concrete mixer, transporting the mixed concrete manually or by mechanical means for laying in proper level and grade on approved surface with cost of all materials, royalties, taxes, labour and hire & running charges of all machineries, T&P and cess etc.including vibrating, finishing, curing, and clearing the site with all leads, lifts and delifts, mobilization and demobilization, site illumination for all materials and dewatering if necessary to complete the work as per approved drawings and specifications anddirection of the Engineer-in-charge.
7Providing and laying in position Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) M25 grade with 20mm down graded sizehard granite crusher broken stone aggregates from approved quarry free from weathered skin surface, dust and any other deleterious materials including supply of clean sharpcoarse sandof approved qualityand approved cement mixed in batching and mixing plant/ concrete mixer, transporting the mixed concrete manually or by mechanical means for laying in proper level and grade on approved surface with cost of all materials, royalties, taxes, labour and hire & running charges of all machineries, T&P and cess etc.including vibrating, finishing, curing, and clearing the site with all leads, lifts and delifts, mobilization and demobilization, site illumination for all materials and dewatering if necessary to complete the work as per approved drawings and specifications and as direction of the Engineer-in-charge.
8Providing, straightening, cutting, bending, binding and tying the grills and placing in position the reinforcement including lapping or welding as per relevant IS code where necessary, including cost, carriage and taxes of approved reinforcing bars, binding wires with all leads, lifts and delifts, cost of all labour, including mobilisation and demobilisation, supplying, running and maintenance of all machineries and equipments necessary for the work with dewatering and all incidental charges, taxes, labour cess including cost of lap bars etc. to complete the item of work in complete shape, as per approved designs, drawing and specification and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
9Rigid smooth Steel centering and shuttering at all heights of CD & Bridge work for piers,abutments, wing walls, girders,slabs etc, using required nos. of vertical and horizontal supports of scaffolding with joists, N.G. rails, channels and steel shuttering plates including welding, bolting and cost, conveyance,cess and taxes of allmaterials including cost of conveyance of dismantling and disposing debries clear of work site complete to receive reinforcement grills and concrete as per drawings, specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
10Providing,contraction/construction joint in cross drainage structures including fixing one line Z-type copper sealing strip of 16SWG (1.63mm thick) and one line of PVC water stop of approved design including 10 mm dia MS rods for supporting in position, fixing 20 mm dia G.I. Pipes for heating and filling with asphalt of approved grade with cost of all materials, labour, cess, transportation and taxes etc. complete including jointing sheets with bredzing/araldite etc. as in specification, approved drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
11Providing and Placing Rough stone dry packing in aprons and revetment with hard granite stone30 cm and above size from approved quarry free from weathered skin surface and any other deleterious materials including dressing of earth work to proper section, filling interstices with small stones & wedges and packing surface to proper line and level with cost of granite stone,conveyance with all leads,lifts & delifts, dewatering, royalty and all other taxes of all materirals,labour cess & placing in position complete as per approved drawing and specificationsas per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
12Gravel or moorum backing to revetmentswith all leads, lifts and delifts to place in proper position including all cost, carriage, royalty, taxes, labour and cess etc. to complete in all respect as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
13Providing weep holes in plane/ R.C.C.Abutments, wing and return wallswith 100mm dia PVC pipe extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1V: 20H towards dressing face at regular interval with its all accessories including cost, conveyance, labour, cess and taxes of all materials with all leads, lifts and delifts etc. complete as per approved drawing, specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
14Providing metal spall backing in the rear of weep holes of abutments, wing and return walls and for deep drains with hard crusher broken granite metal with all leads, lifts and delifts to place in proper position including all cost, carriage, royalty, taxes, labour, cess etc. to complete in all respect as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
15Filling in foundation trenches with usable quality of earth available from foundation excavation in layer not exceeding 150mm thick including watering, ramming manually or mechanically fully compacted with all leads, lifts and delifts, T&P, dewatering, all taxes, labour cess, supervision charges as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
16Providing, fitting and fixing of good and approved quality Tar paper on top of pier of required size withcost of allmaterials,taxes, labour, transportation,cess including all leads, lifts & delifts etc. complete as in specification, approved drawings and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
17Providing and placing Random rubble hard granite stone masonry in sand grouted with hard granite broken stone of 30 cm and above size filling interstices with small stones & wedges and packing surface to proper line and level with all leads, lifts and delifts , cost , conveyance, royalty , loading and unloading of all materials and labour required including cess etc. complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
18Providing, fitting and fixing of good and approved quality Bituminous expansion joint board (I.S.I) in expansion joint of required size withcost of allmaterials, taxes, labour, transportation,cess including all leads, lifts& delifts etc. complete as in specification, approved drawings and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
19Providing and fixing cast iron gratings with 100mm dia PVC pipe of required length in bridge slab to facilitate proper drainage of water from deck slab with cost, carriage,cess and taxes of all materials and labour including all leads, lifts& delifts etc. complete and as per the drawing, specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
20Providing and fixing 15cm dia and 1.00m long guard posts of RCC M-25 using 3.5 kg of steel for each guard post with 20mm nominal size crusher broken hard granite chips with cost, carriage, cess of all materials and labour including cost of all reinforcement and centering and shuttering and watering for curing etc. complete and as per the specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
21Providing and watering earth work up to OMC condition and compaction by Vibratory Rollerand dozers in layers not exceeding 22.5cm to 95% dry density including mobilization, demobilization and hire and running charges of all the machineries, T&P, taxes, cess, labourfor all heights of embankment etc. complete as per specification anddirection of Engineer-in-Charge. (Measurement to be taken on the finished compacted section of the fill under OMC condition)
22Fine dressing and turfing the canal embankment, slopes with approved quality of compacted dub grass including collection and supplying the same from approved site including loading, unloading, conveyance charges, royalty and all other taxes, labour cess with all leads, lifts & delifts and specification including cost of mobilization, demobilization, supplying all machineries, equipments, materials. and labour required for the work supervision charges including cost of watering and making arrangements till survival of grass to its full growth with all incidental charges to complete the item of work as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge(Measurement will be made on covered area only after full growth and servival of turf for a reasonable period).
23Loosening, leveling and compacting the original ground supporting embankment/ road, scarified to a depth of 150mm mixed with water at OMC and then compacted by Vibratory Roller so as to achieve minimum dry density as given in table 300-2 for embankment construction & Clause 305 of MoSRT&H Specifications for Road & Bridge works (4th Revision)including hire and running charges of all machinaries, T&P, labour, cess and Taxes etc complete in all respect and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
24Collecting and Supplying good quality moorum from approved quarry and labour for laying sub-base in layers not exceeding 100mm watering & compacting to the required density in O.M.C with PRRwith all leads, lifts and delifts, loading and unloading including cost, carriage, royalty of all materials, cess, taxes and hire charges of all machineries, etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
25Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes(Grade-II) to water bound mecadam (WBM) specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with three wheeled steel roller 8-10 tons in stages to poper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening/binding materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggeregate, watering and compacting to the required density as per clause 404 of MoSRT&H specification for road and bridge works (4th revision) including all cost, carriage, royalty, taxes, cess and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
26Providing and laying admixture of moorum and sand of approved specification and proportion of(50:50) in canal bed and slopes in layers not exceeding 100mm, watering upto OMC condition and compacting by vibratory rollers/ plate vibratorsto each layer to required density and finished to proper line and grade manually for laying cement concrete lining including cost, carriage, labour, cess, royalty and taxes of all materials including hire and running charges of all the machineries, T&Prequired for the work etc complete as per approved drawings, specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge. ( Measurement of fill will be taken on finished compacted sections after deducting the volume of trench cutting for sleeper beams & drains. The rate includes compacting the admixture layer to wider sections andcutting to design sections for laying cement concrete liningas directed).
27Providing and spreadinggraded sand of approved quality and specification on compacted surface of longitudinal & transverse drains in filter blanket and horizontal filter zone below canal lining to designed thickness in proper line and grade including cost, carriage, royalty & taxes of all materials, labours, cess and T&P etc. required with all leads, lifts & delifts to complete in all respect as per drawings, specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
28Collecting, supplying and spreading of graded filter of hard crusher broken granite chips of size 40mm to 20mm in filter drains of canal to proper slope & level using removable sheet metal separator as per design and drawing with all cost, carriage,royalty and all other charges including watering and ramming to proper compaction including hire charges of machineries, site illumination, mobilisation, demobilisation, construction of coffer dam, approach road, diversion road with its removal after completion of work with all leads, lifts, delifts, T&P etc., all taxes, labour cess as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
29Collecting, supplying and spreading of graded filter of hard crusher broken granite chips of size 20mm & down graded in filter drains of canal to proper slope & level using removable sheet metal separator and horizontal filter zone below canal lining to design thickness in proper line and grade as per design and drawing with all cost, carriage,royalty and all other charges including watering and ramming to proper compaction including hire charges of machineries, site illumination, mobilisation, demobilisation, construction of coffer dam, approach road, diversion road with its removal after completion of work with all leads, lifts, delifts, T&P etc., all taxes, labour cess as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
30Providing and laying cement concrete(PCC) of grade M 15 with 20 mm down graded size hard granite crusher broken stone aggregates from approved quarry free from weathered skin surface, dust and any other deleterious materials including supply of clean sharp coarse sand of approved quality and approved cement mixed in batching and mixing plant/ concrete mixer for cast-in-situ cement concrete lining in bed and slopes of canal with sleeper beams and keys etc. in pannels including cost, carriage, royalty, cess and taxes of all materials, with all leads, lifts & delifts and supply of all labours, machineries, T&P & including cutting trenches for sleeper beam, keys and drainage etc. with required form work, centering and shuttering, dewatering if required, compacting & finishing with concrete paver finisher to proper profile and grade, expansion/contraction joints, waterig for curing to required period and supplying and laying polythene film of 100micron, tar paper and filling compounds for joints etc. complete as per approved drawing, specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
31Providing, fitting and fixing pressure relief valves (PRVs) in position with 750mm long x 90mm dia/430mm long x 90 mm dia as per IS: 4985-1968 with 5mm thick porforated PVC pipes/ stainer (6mm dia perforation) encased in 160mm dia perforated PVC casing of appropriate length in position with Neoprene rubber flap in longitudinal and cross drains and in pockets of canal slopes and bed at specified locations to release hydrostatic pressures and positioning in proper line and grade including cost, carriage & taxes of all materials, labours, cess and T&P etc. required with all leads, lifts & delifts to complete in all respect as per drawings, specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
32Providing and fixing 160mm dia 6 kg/Sqm perforated PVC pipe of required length in longitudinal/traverse drain in proper alignment and joining with araldite to facilitate proper drainage of water includingcost, carriage,cess and taxes of all materials and labour including all leads, lifts & delifts etc. complete and as per the drawing, specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
33Providing & fixing in position PVC crack inducing joints (PVCNCL/PVCNCT) extracted from virgin pigments plasticized, polyvenyl chloride as per approved drawing for longitudinal and tranverse contraction joints in concrete lining confirming to specification with all leads, lifts, delifts including labour, T&P, cost of all materials,conveyance, taxes and cess etc. complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
