6M&L in repairs for shifting of serviceable transformer of capacityup to 630 KVAfrom MES store Yard/Sub Stn (indoor/outdoor)or from any location at Delhi cantt for installation in place of unserviceable transformer and return back to MES store yard after replacing with repaired transformer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in- charge .
7M&L in repairs for factory opening offaulty / defective transformer of ratio 11000/433 volts opening the top cover of transformer , carrying out the repairs /works listed at serial No. (i) to (xi) below for the transformers of capacity up to 315 KVA . (i)Taking out the core/coil of transformer from tank by disconnecting star delta connection of transformer , After dismantling of Transformer and physical joint inspection of core coil assembly (removing all 3 limbs HV &LV winding from Core Assembly) washing of core assembly by hot oil for removing brunt carbon and copper particles and cleaning of complete top yoke by oil (ii)Painting inside of the transformer with yellow paint and outside body with synthetic enamel paint of existing tint/color Cleaning inside of the transformer by using transformer oil. (iii)Refixing/ reassemble of complete core assembly and core coil assembly providing new coils and new tap leads of tap changer including requisite insulation material including heating up the transformer core assembly to remove moisture after carrying out the repairs works . (iv) Renewal of rubberized gasket set for top cover, Brass spindles, LT and HT bushings ,tap changer connection WTI &OTI connection and CT connection etc. (v)Refilling of the decanted transformer oil after centrifuging and testing for required di-electric strength. (vi)Refixing the transformer top cover with nuts, bolts and washers and conservator tank ready for final testing all as directed in presence of rep of MES. (vii) Preparing Inspection report for renewal of parts etc in presence of Engineer - in- charge and Contractor. (viii)The contractor shall arrange factory visit for the Engineer - in- chargeor his representative as and when required, testing of transformer to be done on full load at factory. (ix) Soldering/ brazing or connecting LV bus bars with suitable size nuts, bolts and washers (x)Providing necessary insulation papers, sleeves, PVC pipes insulation sheet etc. (xi)Renewal of worn out nuts, bolts and washers Note : Coil and insulation shall be measured and paid separately
8All as per item N0.7 here in before but up to capacity above 315 KVA to 630 KVA
9Material and Labourin repairs for rewinding of HT coils with copper wire DPC/super enameled high quality matching with existing gauge and impedance including requisite insulating paper/material in each layer of winding after taking down old existing winding of HT coils of 11 KV transformer complete. Note : (i) The rate quoted against these items is inclusive necessary provisionof all types of insulating materials , heating andvarnishing etc.
10Allas per item No 09 here-in-before but LT coils with copper strips.
11Material and Labourfor drying/ovening of complete Core coil assembly(CCA)in vacuum chamber and continuous monitoring to improve of IR Values after varnishing the coil to eliminate moisture contentfrom Transformer up to 630 KVA capacity complete .
12Material and Labour after drying and oveningandRe-assembling of up to 630 KVA Transformer core, testing of magnetic circuit for IR values, assembly and connection of OLTC of all phases, testing of transformer at low voltage, checking of ratio and polarity test.all as specified and directed. Note: For Item no 07 to 12 The following routine test as per IS 2026 (Part I) -2011 shall be carried out at repairing workshop /manufacturer having NABL calibration of test equipments (i)Measurement of winding resistance. (ii)Measurement of voltage ratio and check of voltage vector relationship. (iii)Measurement of impedance voltage/short circuit impedance (principal tapping) and load loss . (iv) Measurement of no load loss and current. (v) Measurement of insulation resistance. (vi)Dielectric tests (c) The contractor shall give written warranty of one year for the repaired transformer. Note :-HT/LT leg coilsand transformer oilrequired for top up shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this Schedule here-in-after as supply only.
13M&L for hiring,transportation ,Installation and testingof serviceabletransformer of same capacity or higher in place of unserviceable transformer which is under repair and shifting backto workshop ,on hire basis for 15 days when ordered complete all as specified and directed.
14Note :-1.Repairing of transformer have to be completed within 15 days duration, no extra costwill be paid toward hiring charges beyond 15 days. Moreover contractor shall not be allowed to shift the hired transformer until it is replaced by the repaired transformer.In case any fault/breakage/burning/ peeling of painting and any other defects occurred in hired transformer the contractor shall have to make good himself from his own expenses. Contractorshould check the available infrastructure and to be sure regarding safety of hiredtransformer before installation.The rate quoted is deemed to be included all as transportation cost, , earthing leads lifting/lowering arrangement etc for transformer of capacity upto 630 KVA.
15Note-2.In case the defective/ unserviceable transformernotrepaired & installed on its sitewithin the specified period of 15 days from the date of handing over to contractor ; a penaltyrecovery@ Rs. 1000/- per day will becharged from his dues. During this periodcontractor shall not be allowed to shift the hired transformer until it is replaced by the repaired transformer.No extra cost beyond 15 days will be paid to contractor on this account.

31Fencing :- M&L for perimeter fencing of size 04m x 04m x 2m (as per site condition) havingMS work ofangle ironfor post and struts of fencing around the transformer plinth/substation/LT panels etcdrilling holes flat iron fillet for securing wire mess by welding to angle iron frame and framed workas in door/gate of angle ironand wiremesh.Door to be fixed by 03 nos 100mm long hinges and one sliding door bolt of 300mm long for lockingarrangement. Details are as follows:- (a)Angle ironpost to post distance maintained not more than 02mtr ,size of angle shall be 40x40x5mm.Angle Iron shall be embedded in natural ground not less than 0.90 m deep. (b)MS wire 75x75mm mesh 3.15 mm dia ,2mtr height and shall befixedto post with flat iron 32 x 6 mm fillet with two coats of synthetic enemel paint over a coat of red oxide primer. (c)Cement concrete type D-2 ,1:4:8 using grade crushed stone aggreagte for mass concrete/ foundation. (d)Brickwork with subclass "B " bricks ,straights or curved on plane exc 6m mean radius ,built in cement mortar 1:6 complete for toe wall along the perimetre fencing.The toe wall shall be one brick thick,30cm high (15cm above GL and 15cm below GL) on 75mm thick PCC lean concrete. (e) The exposed surfacesof brickworkshall be rendered 15mm thickin CM (1:4) finished fair and even without using extra cement. (f) The steel gate shall be of size 1.00m x2.00 m fabricated from angle iron 40x40x5 mm frame and 12x12 mm square guard bars. (g) All the exposed surfaces of steel shall be painted with two coats of Synthetic enamel paint over one coat of Red Oxide Primer. (h) Dry stone aggregate of size 40mm spreaded ,levelled & compacted upto 100mm thick. (h) Necessary excavation and eathwork shall be included in the quoted rate.
32Earthing complete in replacement with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground ,(Earth pit not less than 2.25 meter deep below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 meter below normal ground level ,connected to and including galvanized iron earth wire 32 X 6 mm by means ofnut, bolts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel and provision of charcoal dust and common salt packed all around the earth plate including necessary excavation and earth work in soft/loose soil and testing complete all as specified and directed and shown in electrical plate number 3 of MES SSR part-I(2009)(a) Excavation and earth work for drilling hole for electrode in soft/loose Soil. (b) PCC pit in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1, Pre cast RCC cover with suitable handle 40 mm thick in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1, reinforced with welded steel wire fabric weighing not less than1.87 Kg/ Sq meter. (c) Funnel with watering pipe of GI 20 mm nominal bore light grade and lugs etc complete all as specified and directed (d) 40 mm nominal bore medium grade GI protection pipe for protection of earthing lead complete all as specified and directed. (e) Requisite quantity of common salt and charcoal. (f) Testing of earthing.
33Supply and fixing in replacement of galvanized iron strip 32 X 6 mm for additional earthing lead beyond 7.5 meter complete all as specified and directed.

35Material and labour for cleaning of 2/4/6 pole structure for loose filling under 2/4/6 pole structure / along the transformer plinth in side the fencing area after cleaning/surface excavation including taking out grass/herbs and filling of aggregate. 38Supply in replacement four wheeled trolley all as specified and directed for load up to 25 ton with the following specification & details:- Trailer 4 Wheeler size 3500mm x 2500mm (a) Main Chassis shall be made of MS channel 125x65mm. (b) Axle size 62x62 MM MS square with steel forged hubs and new tapper roller bearing. (c) Leaf springs-04 Nos spring for suspension system size 70 x 10 x 900. (d) Draw-Bar:- Triangular draw bar on front made with male Feale angle and pipe bushes with Eye hook towing arrangement. (e) Towing arrangement:- Spring loaded towing hook for universal attachment with any vehicle size 36mm round. (f) Floor sheet:- Floor fully covered witm 2mm thick MS sheet. (g) Tyre assembly:- 04 Nos new tyers assembly size 7.50x16 (Nylon) and standard Make as CEAT, JK, & MRF. (h) Finishing & painting:- Finishing with grinding and one coats of zinc-chromate (primer) and two coats of super synthetic enamel paint of any shade as approved. 79NOTE :-(i)contractor shouldprovide 50% of the material as listed above within 15 days of the placing of work orderand shall be verified by the Eng-in-charge.
