1Disconnecting, opening of transformer of capacity 100 kVA to 400 kVA, 11 kV /415 volts, outdoor type of any make after unscrewing nuts & bolts, screws and connected, dismantling carefully connected accessories and removing primary and secondary terminals, top cover, conservator tank, temp gauge, breather, neutral earth strips and draining out transformer oil to the required level and storing carefully in cleaned containers (to be arranged by contractor) etc. for replacement of defective parts such as replacement of leaking gaskets, replacement of worn out/burnt out studs, checking and cleaning of contacts of tap changer and re-assembling the transformer after replacing the defective parts, testing complete all as specified and as directed. Note: - (a) Transformer oil shall be drained out by the contractor in suitable capacity mild steel drums to be arranged by the contractor. The said drained out transformer oil shall be refilled in the transformer duly dehydrated after repair and the cost thereof shall be included in unit rate quoted against the respective item of this schedule and paid separately. (b) The spare parts excluding nuts, bolts, washer, gasket etc. shall be measured and paid for separately. (c) Testing of transformer after repair shall be carried out as per IS 2026 (Part 1): 2011 and testing as specified and the cost of testing shall be deemed to be included in unit rate quoted against this item.
2S & F in repairs 12 kV or 17.5 kV/ 250 A bushing with copper stem including both porcelain parts and metal parts with accessories as per IS 3347 Part 3 (section 1 & 2) complete all as specified and as directed.
3S & F in repairs upto and including 1.1 kV/ 250 A bushing with copper stem including both porcelain parts and metal parts with accessories as per IS 3347 Part 1 (section 1 & 2) complete all as specified and as directed.
4S & F in repairs 25 mm dia gunmetal drain valve of transformer as per existing one along with brass/ gun metal dummy cap complete all as specified and as directed.
5S & F in repairs 50 mm dia gunmetal drain valve of transformer as per existing one along with brass/ gun metal dummy cap complete all as specified and as directed.
6M & L for replacement of silica gel, indicating type, 4 to 6 mm standard size of the particle, blue colour for transformer of any capacity.
7S & F silica gel breather containing 250 gms silica gel, indicating type, 4 to 6 mm standard size of the particle, blue colour silica, breather body made out of aluminium pressure die cast, shot blasted and powder coated, container and oil cup made out of 143R grade UV resistant polycarbonate, all gaskets made out of nitrile cork (RC 70C) rubber, flanged type. breather piping doesn’t include any valve between conservator and breather, removable type mounted at suitable height from ground level, tested for 0.35 kg / cm for all joints complete all as specified and as directed.
8S & F silica gel breather containing 500 gms silica gel, indicating type, 4 to 6 mm standard size of the particle, blue colour silica, breather body made out of aluminium pressure die cast, shot blasted and powder coated, container and oil cup made out of 143R grade UV resistant polycarbonate, all gaskets made out of nitrile cork (RC 70C) rubber, flanged type. breather piping doesn’t include any valve between conservator and breather, removable type mounted at suitable height from ground level, tested for 0.35 kg / cm for all joints complete all as specified and as directed.
9Taking out old unserviceable off load tap changer from 11 kV / 433 V Transformer & Supply and fix new off load tap changer suitable for 11 kV/ 433 V Transformer and as per the existing one complete all as specified and as directed.
10Carrying out field test for visual inspection (colour and appearance), break down voltage, water content and acidity before and submission of report all as per IS 1866: 2017 and IEC 60422: 2013 complete all as specified and as directed.
11Filtration, Dehydration, reconditioning of transformer oil by using filtering equipment, vacuum dehydrator etc. to obtain minimum break down voltage of 60 kV and maximum water content of 30 mg/kg as per IS 1866: 2017 and IEC 60422: 2013 complete all as specified and as directed.
12S & F in repairs upto and including 1.1 kV/ 630 A bushing with copper stem including both porcelain parts and metal parts with accessories as per IS 3347 Part 1 (section 1 & 2) complete all as specified and as directed.
13Supply and fill unused mineral insulating oils conforming to IS 335: 2018, Type II Class (Transformer oils), Uninhibited (U), pour point -10°C, vacuum filtered in a laboratory, Breakdown voltage of min 70 kV at 2.5 mm gap complete all as specified and as directed.
14M & L for servicing of 33 kV control and relay panel including checking for all loose connections, replacement of burnt-out cables, replacement of unserviceable MCBs, necessary electrical connections to transformers including the followings testing of current transformers of any capacity on the site at different locations under the GE and submission of reports to the Engineer-in-Charge including servicing and calibration of current transformers complete all as specified and as directed. (a) Mechanical Check and Visual Inspection (b) Insulation Resistance Test (c) Polarity Test (d) Secondary / Loop Resistance Test (optional test) (e) Burden Test (optional test) (f) Magnetization Curve Test (optional test) (g) Turns ratio Tests (h) Primary Injection Test (i) High Voltage Test
15Disconnecting existing incoming & outgoing connections and repair, overhauling and maintenance of VCB, 11 kV, vertical or horizontal isolation, installed with receiving, distribution system and capacitor bank including checking of different functional parts and setting/ calibration of VCB installations including the followings: - (a) checking the protection system calibration of triple pole overload/earth fault relay with all three phase, trip supervision relay, lock out under voltage relay & outgoing. (b) checking the alarm system with hooter and reset push button system and auxiliary alarm cancellation relay system. (d) checking the metering system and replace the same if required as site requirement for ammeter & voltmeter with selector switch, frequency meter, indicator LED lamps for ON / OFF flushed with front of panel on incoming & out going sides. (e) checking the operation of manual charging of the system button for ON/OFF. (f) checking motor operated spring stored energy trip and closing coil system. (g) checking auxiliary switching system for manual charging & all metering equipments. (h) checking the CT coils & replace the same if required for proper functioning. (i) checking the potential transformer fitted on top of the VCB along with metering equipments and functioning and reconnect the same with as per site requirements. (j) checking the DC wiring system & battery bank and repair and replace the same as per site requirement. (k) Dusting/cleaning by smooth brushing or dry cotton and lubricating of movable mechanism suitably with oil/grease and painting with enameled paint by scrapping the rusted surface and replacement of unserviceable/ burnt out/worn out spare parts with new one as per existing make including taking down/dismantling of existing unserviceable spares parts of VCB/Capacitor Banks all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (l) Testing after repair/ maintenance as per OEM"s instructions. Note: - (i) The quoted rate shall be inclusive of required T & P for including servicing, overhauling, calibration and testing etc. (ii) The new spare parts required for replacement excluding wiring, nuts, bolts, washers, gasket etc. shall be paid and measured separately as as S & F in repairs. (iii) Servicing, overhauling, calibration and testing etc. shall be carried out as per the Manufacturer’s instructions/ guideline and by the authorised of the manufacturer and the necessary literature shall be made available to the department. The quoted rate shall be inclusive of these aspects.
16Disconnecting existing incoming & outgoing connections and repair, overhauling and maintenance of VCB, 33 kV, vertical or horizontal isolation, installed with receiving, distribution system and capacitor bank including checking of different functional parts and setting/ calibration of VCB installations including the followings: - (a) checking the protection system calibration of triple pole overload/earth fault relay with all three phase, trip supervision relay, lock out under voltage relay & outgoing. (k) Dusting/cleaning by smooth brushing or dry cotton and lubricating of movable mechanism suitably with oil/grease and painting with enameled paint by scrapping the rusted surface and replacement of unserviceable/ burnt out/worn out spare parts with new one as per existing make, duly commissioned in the VCBs at 33 kV at MRS Bairagarh Mil Stn under the GE including taking down/dismantling of existing unserviceable spares parts of VCB/Capacitor Banks all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (l) Calibration of VCB Panel and necessary report to be furnished to the department. Note: - (i) The quoted rate shall be inclusive of required T & P for including servicing, overhauling, calibration and testing etc. (ii) The new spare parts required for replacement excluding wiring, nuts, bolts, washers, gasket etc. shall be paid and measured separately as as S & F in repairs. (iii) Servicing, overhauling, calibration and testing etc. shall be carried out as per the Manufacturer’s instructions/ guideline and by the authorised of the manufacturer and the necessary literature shall be made available to the department. The quoted rate shall be inclusive of these aspects.
17Supply, laying, jointing, testing and commissioning cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulated control cable for working voltages of 1100 V, PVC sheathed, armoured, 8 core, nominal cross sectional area of main conductor 2.5 sqmm, stranded copper conductor, conforming to IS 7098(Part-I): 1988 including cable glands, lugs etc. to suit the cable size and to be laid in trenches, fixed along pole, under floors, through GI pipe laid under floors/roads, through concealed GI pipe along wall etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

20Disconnecting and dismantling indoor type 33 kV CTs carefully at site and supplying Installing, testing and commissioning 11 kV current transformer outdoor type, epoxy resin, cast dry type all as per IS 16227 for outgoing feeder, ratio 40/20 /5-5 Amp 15 VA, Class-1 for metering 5P 20 for protection including PI, IR testing with removing of existing CTs complete all as specified and directed.
21Taking down old unserviceable control cable of any type and any size for taking credit complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
22M & L for earthing complete with galvanised steel plate earth electrode 600 mm X 600 mm X 6 mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to earthing lead of 32 mm X 6 mm galvanised mild steel strip by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron from earth plate to test point upto 7.5 metre including all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part I (2009) including necessary concrete chamber in cement concrete M15 (Nominal Mix) using 20 mm nominal size coarse aggregate, precast RCC cover slab in cement concrete M15 (Nominal mix) using 20 mm nominal size coarse aggregate of size 40 cm X 40 cm X 5 cm reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bars @ 150 mm c/c both ways with one handle for lifting made out of 8 mm dia bar, GI funnel, GI wire mesh filter, 20 mm dia GI pipe medium grade for watering, 40 mm dia GI pipe medium grade for protection of earthing lead, charcoal or coke and salt in alternate layers including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil/ strata and testing complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
23Supply only HT DO fuse element of capacity 5 to 50 Amps
24M& L for cleaning of transformer yard, four pole, three pole, two pole structure, area dressing, removing vegetation/ shrubs/ bushes etc. complete all as specified and as directed.
25M & L for loose filling with broken stone or boulder aggregates of gauge 40 to 80 mm in soakage pits, soakage wells, on open space etc. complete all as specified and as directed.
26M & L for spray painting of transformers (any type power or distribution)) of capacity upto and including 250 kVA (in situ) outdoor type, installed and located at different sites in scattered area under the GE complete all as specified and as directed including the following: - (a) Removal of grease, oil and other contaminants using de-greasing solvent. (b) De-rusting of surface and cleaning manually by scrubbing and wire brushing. (c) Washing thoroughly and dry properly. (d) Applying two coats of zinc phosphate primer by spray machine (e) Final painting of two coats with synthetic enamel paint by spray machine over priming coat. (f) the colours of painting shall be (i) grey for transformer body, (ii) red, yellow & blue for HT bushing, (iii) red, yellow, blue & black for LT bushing, (iv) red for drain plug, (v) white for writing SM/ MES No., location, area feeding (in short) over the body of transformer.
27M & L for spray painting of transformers (any type power or distribution)) of capacity above 300 kVA and upto and including 500 kVA (in situ) outdoor type, installed and located at different sites in scattered area under the GE complete all as specified and as directed including the following: - (a) Removal of grease, oil and other contaminants using de-greasing solvent. (b) De-rusting of surface and cleaning manually by scrubbing and wire brushing. (c) Washing thoroughly and dry properly. (d) Applying two coats of zinc phosphate primer by spray machine (e) Final painting of two coats with synthetic enamel paint by spray machine over priming coat. (f) the colours of painting shall be (i) grey for transformer body, (ii) red, yellow & blue for HT bushing, (iii) red, yellow, blue & black for LT bushing, (iv) red for drain plug, (v) white for writing SM/ MES No., location, area feeding (in short) over the body of transformer.
28M & L for preparing and painting on four poles structure of steel tubular swaged of any type and any length including cross arms, GI brackets, PCC coping complete all as specified and as directed comprising the following: - (a) Two coats of synthetic enamel paint in white colour over a coat of primer on PCC coping (b) Making 4 Nos of strips of 30 cm wide in alternate red and white colour using two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer (c) Providing 30 cm wide retro reflective sheet of 30 cm wide, grade 1, pressure bonding type, red colour as per IS 14221: 1995 (d) Two coats of synthetic enamel paint in red colour over a coat of primer from top of electric pole to downward upto 1 metre length including cross arms, GI brackets etc. (e) Writing pole number and voltage level encompassed by circle of suitable dia using two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer (the colour of base shall be black and the colour of font shall be white). Number and voltage level shall be handwritten, and circle shall be stencilled. (f) Painting with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of aluminium red oxide primer on remaining exposed portions.
