(ii) Necessary T&P i.e. ladder, tools etc required for checking and making the light fittings in serviceable conditions, its fixing in position and testing shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost for checking and fixing of street light fittings/security light fittings of any description on poles / on walls / on pillars etc i.e. in any position at site. (iii)Required screws, insulating tapes, internal wiring wire and other minor items excluding the required spares parts for repairing and making the street light fittings/security light fittings in serviceable condition, will be arranged & supplied by the contractor and cost of which is deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the contractor in above respective item. (iv)Contractor shall be paid only one time the labour charges quoted above in Schedule `A" items for a particular fitting repaired irrespective of the number of times labour and resources arranged by him to check the serviceability of the fittings and replacement of unserviceable / defective parts in order to maintain the fittings in serviceable/working condition. (v) Contractor’s quoted rates for Schedule `A" /BOQ Srl item No 12 is deemed to include for inspection/checking the serviceability of the fittings in position or by taking down as per site requirement, removing the damaged unserviceable / broken parts, fixing the new parts as required, fixing the fittings in same position or the other, connecting the fittings with electric source and testing of fittings as directed. |

| 16 | Taking down old unserviceable MS junction boxes from the pole with disconnectiong all connections, Supplying and fixing in position new Pole box made of thermoplastic Polycarbonate having IP65/IP66 degree of protection (shock proof, dust proof, jet water proof and acid resistive). The gasket should be internally embedded, and made of Polyeutherene. The boxes shall be tested as per IEC 60670-2/ 60670-22. The boxes shall have self threaded holes & provision for mounting din rail. The lid should be hinged type with sealing screw. The screw should be of stainless steel so that there is no corrosion. The boxes should withstand temperature of -40c to +120c. The glow wire test should be conducted at 960 c or 750 c and material should be flame retardant & self extinguishing. UL subject 94, V-0. The boxes should be free from toxic substances like hal ogen and silicon. The boxes should have suitable pre-moulded knock out /or plan wall depending on requirement. Box dimension shall not be less than 200 X 160 X98 MM (LXBXH). Box shall be suitable for 16/25Sqmm cables including one no. MCB SP 230 volts 6 amps and connecting the bus bars to cables withusing suitable GI nut, bolts and washers and aluminum lugs etc fixed on pole using 30x5mm FI clamps,nuts,bolts & washers complete all as specified and directed. |
