2 | Dock Hire- If docking done outside of ND (Mbi) payment will be done at actuals to the contractor for the dock facilitator. If HSL facilitate the ND (Mum) dock, Payment for dock hiring charges will not be given to the contractor. HSL will pay the actual number of docking days on pro rata basis. However if, docking period is beyond 10 days, the dock, fire main, power supply, crane services, fresh water and security charges has to be borne by the Contractor. |
3 | Transit of tugs from contractor dock facility to CoY, ND (Mbi) and vice versa. If the CoY, ND(Mbi) / HSLarranged the ship crew for transit the payment for the transit of the tug will not be given. |
4 | Dock blocks preparation - Version I / Version II, Dock blocks to be arranged for both centre line and side blocks as per approved Docking plan. Dock plan will be providedby HSL |
5 | Docking & undocking charges - Docking is to be carried out as per approved docking plan including staging, deployment of security rep and required arrangements for Safety. If HSL / ND(Mbi) personnelundertake the docking activity, Payment for docking/ Undocking will not be given to the contractor |
6 | Third Party Inspection for Dock block preparation (if required) - To arrange the Navy approved third party inspection agency (IRS/ ABS) / NSRY/ND authorities for checking the arrangement of dock blocks as per approved docking plan. Post inspection of dock block preparation, duly recommended certificate by Third party inspection agency (IRS/ ABS) to be handed over to Navy/HSL. Payment will be done at actuals against documentary proof to the contractor by submitting inspection agency clearance certificate. If HSL provides third party class rep payment for third party inspection will not be given to the contractor |
7 | POWER SUPPLY (a) shore power (quote includes connection & disconnection) 3 phase, 415v, 50hz, 20 kwh per day for a period of 10 days in dry dock, however payment will be made as per actual quantity consumed. Ship should be earthed at one point. |
8 | FIREMAIN Provide 01 fire mains with 7kg/cm² pressure during the period with control valves and necessary supply hoses. |
9 | CRANE SERVICES Provide crane 5 ton capacity for 30 hrs. during the refitper hour |
10 | Fresh water connection (a) supply of fresh water 1 tons / day for entire refit duration of 10 days including hose connections. Payment at actuals. |
11 | Vendor is responsible for safety and security of all items / material / equipment that is degutted / removed on-board the ship and the same item is to be fitted on-board. Permission for hot works (if any) is under Vendor scope. Vendorto permit entry / exit of individuals of any firm / company / organisation / guests on-board the Naval vessel on ship"s and Project Monitoring Officers letter |

13 | Underwater - cleaning of Hull: On Docking of the Ship, Carry out scrapping of marine growth on both the voith system and Hull preserve with a layer of Grease for survey |
14 | Underwater - cleaning of Hull: Carry out High pressure water jet cleaning to prepare for under water Hull survey including surface preparation / hard scrapping, light scarping and wire brushing. This includes boot topping area, sea chest/tubes and UW fittings. |
15 | UW Hull Painting: Post Cleaning on the damage areas (i)01 Coat Primer – DFT - 50 microns. (ii) 02 Coats of Anti corrosive - DFT - 150 microns each coat. (iii) 01 Coat Tie coat - DFT - 125 microns. (iv) 02 Coats of Anti Fouling - DFT - 150 microns each coat. For the defective and over polished area as per the paint rep recommendationsM/s - Akzonobel. Antifouling paint to be applied. One coat of the antifouling black at boot top area need to be applied right around with proper line cutting. Required Paints to be supplied by HSL. Paint to be done as per paint rep recommendation at damaged areas as per aforesaid scheme |
16 | UW Painting - Draught Marks etc: Draught marks to be painted with paint scheme as under water area and top coat to be painted. Ship’s pennant number to be painted above the Underwater paint scheme. Paint to be supplied by shipyard. M/s - Akzonobel |
17 | Underwater -sacrificial anode: Renewal of Sacrificial Anodes:All sacrificial anode to be checked. To be changed If consumed more than 50% Total Qty: 20, Type A+ Type B+ Type C. Payment to be made for replaced anodes at actuals. Vendor to be ready withpart quantity required anodes as duration of docking is only 10days. Details of anodes will be provided by HSL. |
18 | Voith system: Depute Service Engineer in consult with OEM for Voith system inspection / Voith Blades. If the service engineer deputed by HSL payment will not be given to the contractor. |
19 | Sea Chest- Gratings: Remove and clean gratings of Sea chest by breaking the putty sealing without breaking or affecting stud threads. Prior fitment abrasive blast all gratings and restore paint scheme similar to UW shell painting and refit the sea chest gratings again. |
20 | Check the drain plugs and OBD valves and take the required action for smooth operation if any defects observed. Payment will be done on actual numbers. |
21 | Inspection of Echo Sounder and ICCP: Depute Service Engineers from OEM (Echo Sounder and ICCP) during docking period and if any abnormality found, same to be rectified. Ifthe service engineer deputed by HSLpayment will not be given to the contractor |
