| 1 | Cleaning the covered/open drains at berth area, removing thecargo debrises/spillage materials/mucks, picking up by any approved means, taking all precautionary measure to work near high voltage electric cables & plug points, disposing the same at identified place by hired vehicles and machinaries within a lead of 5 km (avg.) including loading at one end & unloading at the other with supply of all labour, safety of workman, T&P, all taxes, engagement hire & running charges of vehilcles and machineries, all POL etc. all complete excluding GST and as directed by Engineer in charge. N.B: Expenses towards deployment of labourers shall be paid against item No.4 of BOQ. Area of coverage: (i) Road surface from Gate No.4 area to Dry Dock & Wet Basin. (ii) Garden junction (near Gate No.4) to Dock Canteen area. (iii) Roads from C.D (Central Dock) and its connecting road (upto creek culvert). (iv) Road connecting to CD Road (back side of Dock Canteen). (v) Dock Canteen square to ESSAR Junction, connecting road/backup space in all Berth area approaches etc. MPB area to NQ-I, CQ-I, CQ-III, SQ & EQ-I to EQ-III and connecting road from T Junction (Wagon Trippler) to New IOB area. |

| 4 | Dewatering the stagnated rain water from different berth areas of the Port as and when necessary using 10 H.P/ 5 H.P SS diesel pump as per requirement, discharging water to near by drains, basins and other points bysufficient length delivery pipe, including supply of all labour, T&P, all taxes, hire and running charges of pump, fuel charges, transportation of pumps from one location to other location, all POL, suction and delivery pipe, engagement ofpump operator in all three shifts as and when requiredetc. complete excluding GST and as directed by Engineer in charge. NB : (1) No idle hours shall be paid. (2) Expense towards deployment of labour shall be paid against item No.4 & 5. (3) Payment shall be based on jointly signed log sheet maintained by contractor on daily basis. |
| 5 | Removing the heavy and jammed cover slabs from Berth area drains, keeping those carefully/safely by the side of the drain, re-fixing after necessary cleaning of drains with utilisation of required manpower, engagement, hire & running charges of all lifting machineries, supply of all labour, taxes, T&P, transportation, staging, POL etc. all complete excluding GST and as directed by Engineer in charge. |
