26REPAIR / RESTORATION
27Providing and applying fibre reinforced elastomeric liquid water proofing membrane with resilient acrylic polymers having Sun Reflectivity Index (SRI) of 105 on top of concrete roof in three coats @10.76 litre/ 10 sqm. One coat of self-priming of elastomeric waterproofing liquid (dilution with water in the ratio of 3:1) and two coats of undiluted elastomeric waterproofing liquid (dry film thickness of complete application/system not less than 500 microns). The operation shall be carried out after scrapping and properly cleaning the surface to remove loose particles with wire brushes, complete in all respect as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
28Applying two or more coat of Ethyl Silicate chemical as approved by Archaeological Survey of India/ Engineer-in-charge, of approved brand and manufacturer, with brush or spray on the existing stone masonry surface till there is no further absorption of chemical by stone surface, including protecting the applied surface from direct sunlight by suitable means during application, all complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge (The rate is inclusive of all materials & labours involved except scaffolding).
29Applying breathable, non-reactive, antifungal, and water repellent Silane/Siloxane chemical as approved by Archaeological Survey of India/ Engineer-in-charge, of approved brand and manufacture, diluted with solvent mineral Turpentine oil in the ratio of 1:12 (One part of approved chemical :12 Part of Turpentine oil), on the existing sand stone masonry surface with two or more coats to give uniform application of chemical on the surface, all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-charge (The rate is inclusive of all materials & labours involved except scaffolding).
30Repairing of .5mm to 5 mm wide open joints / cracks in all types of sand stone masonry work including scrapping of loose jointing material from cracks. The inner side to be filled/pointed with polymer mixed lime mortar with wooden trowel and fixing grouting nipple from outer side as directed by Architect. Then apply polymer-based lime mortar by injection grouting through 5mm diameter nozzle through the pre fix nipple up to total thickness of existing stone wall and removing the PVC nipple pipe, lime mortar of mix lime & sand 1:1 mix with polymer using katha or other additives to achieve require matching colour and including cost of all materials, labour, machinery, equipment, curing and cleaning the site as directed
31Providing and fixing chicken wire mesh (6mm x 6mm) of 24-gauge 200 mm wide along the joints of brick work with hooks/nails etc. complete so as to receiving the plastering work over chicken mesh as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.
32Stitching of cracks in brick masonry with stone lintels of 450x 200x50 mm. Chasing, grooving the brick masonry and inserting the stone lintel. All around the stone, lime mortar should be properly packed.
33Supplying and providing of two components poly sulphide sealant containing solid contents, confirming to standard specification and approved compatible primer, for priming vertical faces prior to application of poly sulphide sealant including all labour charges for sealing of expansion joints after drill mixing of two components sealing compound. Cleaning and preparation of expansion joint using wire brush sand papering with emery paper and filing with suitable mechanical means. The work includes racking and cleaning of joints, sticking, debonding tape on bottom of joint, applying primer on edges, using masking tape on edges, providing of sealant and removal of masking tape immediately after providing sealant in joint.
34To vertical joint between RCC columns, bricks & stone masonry in size 40 mm width and 12 mm depth, including providing back up material (Thermocoal foam) if required.

52Stucco work in lime, Surkhi, mortar (1:2) as per existing design work/ traditional practices by skilled craftsman, the stucco work should be done as per restoration nature, the mortar should be prepared by grinding mill adding gur, methi & gugal. The thickness varies from 50 mm to 100mm as per the design (minimum rectangular surface area to be measured).
53Painting on Stucco work with stone colours including base coat of khameera as per traditional practice (minimum rectangular to be measured).
54Coloured Araish work 1: 2 (1-lime putty: 2-Zikki) over lime plaster or plain back ground including preparation of lime for 6 months by slaking of lime with curd and changing the water every week. The kara plaster of not more than 6 mm thick is to be left for maximum of 3 months to appear the shrinkage & temperature cracks over the kara plaster 2 mm layer of grinded lime putty is to be done and is to be rubbed gently by Akik stone then inserting the design of colour border/ flowers/pictures etc including desired colour stone pigment to match the existing design/pattern after this, applying Khopra paste & rubbing with cloth to give a uniform picture. The work to be executed strict as per direction of Engineer In-charge
5540 mm thick fine dressed stone flooring over 20 mm (average) thick base of cement mortar 1:5 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand), including pointing with cement mortar 1:2 (1 cement : 2 stone dust) with an admixture of pigment to match the shade of stone.

71Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side of building/structure, upto 25 metre height, above ground level, including additional rows of scaffolding in stepped manner as per requirement of site, made with 40mm dia M.S. tube, placed 1.5 metre centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joint with cup & lock system with M.S. Tubes, M.S. tube challis, M.S. clamps and staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for execution of work of cleaning and/ or pointing and/ or applying chemical and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connecting with the building etc, wherever required, if feasible, for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc., complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge. Note:- (1) The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. (2) The payment will be made once only for execution of all items for such works.
