| 1 | Providing Fitting Installationtesting and commissioning of 200 mm diameter Sluice Valves to be installed at Lift Irrigation Schemes Gundibabakhalil as per the following specifications:- The sluice valve shall be of ductile iron, non-rising spindle, double flanged manually operated generally confirming to IS 14846 having body, door, dome/Bonnet, gland in Graded ductile iron confirming to IS 1865 grade 400/15, spindle nut of gun metal IS 318 grade LTB-2. The Valve shall be designed to withstand a working pressure of 16 kg/ cm2 having pressure rating of PN 1.6. All internal and external parts of the components of the valve must undergo the necessary surface preparation for epoxy coating. All nuts, bolts, washers and sets crews shall be of standard IS specifications. All the internal and external components of the valve shall have excellent finish resulting in low friction and smooth operation ensuring long service life and leak tight ends after thousands of opening and closing cycles. Technical Specifications of the Valve: PN Rating. PN 1.6 = Working pressure16 Kg f/ cm2 Body Test pressure.24 Kg f/ cm2 Nominal Diameter 200 mm. Type of manufacture. Casting. The valve shall have the following body markings in the raised letters: The nominal size, The nominal pressure designation, The Manufacturers name and Trade mark, Direction of closing marking, Serial Number of the valve. The valve shall be tested hydraulically in accordance with IS Specifications Suitable for PN rating 1.6 duly provided with manufacturers test certificate. Acceptable makes of Valves: - Talis / VAG / IVC/ERHARD The job includes fitting of avlve, welding/cutting of flanges washers RI cloth nuts & bolts and involvement of DG swet & dewatering of residual water leaking during the execution of the job.
