36Restringing (without taking down) of existing ACSR’s conductorsand earth wires including cradles, of any description, size & shape and in any position, as in LT/HT overhead lines, on existing poles, including opening of connections and binding wires, restringing and tightening of conductors/earth wire in position, removing sag, binding to insulators with new aluminum wire, making and connecting jumper connections etc. including testing complete all as specified and directed. The quoted rates shall be deemed to include the following provisions also :- (i)Setting/adjusting etc in position of cradles. (ii) Old serviceable spacers of ACSR conductor shall be reused and fixed as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
37Material & labour pin type porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulator including one GI nut bolt 100 mm height 65 mm dia for 1100 Volt complete including taking down old unserviceable insulator all as specified and directed.
38Material & labour Shackle type, porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulator including galvanised mild steel straps, washers, insulator bolts, washers and nuts for 1100 Volt 100 mm height & 115 mm dia with GI straps 31x5 mm & dia of volt 14 mm complete including taking down old unserviceable insulator complete all as specified and directed.
39M&L for danger notice plate of size 20 cm x 15 cm x 1.6 mm thick mild steel sheet viterous enamelled white with letters figures and conventional skul and bones in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps, bolts, nuts and washers of approved size for LT , 415 volts complete all as specified and directed.
40M&L for stay assembly using GI stay rod 20 mm dia complete with stay plate of mild steel of size 300 x 300 x 6.00 mm thick, stay bow, loop insulator, stay wire, stay clamp, nuts, bolts etc. complete all as specified and shown in Electrical Plate No 1 . (Necessary earth work and PCC shall be measured and paid seperately) complete all as specified and directed.
41M&L for cement concrete 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) in foundation for stay etc. including necessary form work etc complete all as specified and directed.
42DisconnectingofGI earthing strips/earth wire leads of any size, any description and in any postion from test point carefully and testing the earth resistance of any type of lightening conductor earthing with the help of earth tester of suitable capacity and recording Ohm value in the register as per proforma approved including cleaning vegetation/wild growth surrounding the earth pit and removing dust/deposited soil from earth pit. NOTE :- (i)The contractor will arrange Earth Tester, all T&P & accessories required for recording the reading. (ii) The contractor shall arrangefor watering of the earth pit through watering pipe in the earthing to improve the resistance. The common salt min 10 Kgs for each earthing pit shall be mixed with the water at site andfilled/dropped in earthing through warering pipe as per site condtion and as directed. The water for this purpose shall be made available by the deptt. at the nearest available source but contractor shall make his own arrangement for drawing water from this source. (iii)The record of resistance value of each earthing alongwith date of testing should be maintained on register as per format approved.
43M&L for prepration of old painted surface of steel tubular poles of 8.5/9 mtr long including cross arms, cable protection pipe, bus bar box and painting of complete area with one coat of aluminum paintfrom 1.5 mtr above ground level to top of pole and a height of 1.5 mtr from the ground level synethetic enamel paint in alternate strips / layer (30 cmwide) with white and bluecolour including writing the pole number in white letters on black background and cleaning /cutting the grass/bushes at a radius of 2 mtr surrounding the pole all as directed.
44Supply and fixing in replacement ofexisting old un-serviceable Earth continuity conductor of size 32 x 6 mm GI strip fixed to wall and batton or recess or chases or burried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other situation for loop earthing etc. complete all as specified and directed.

(ii) Necessary permission will be obtained from department by contractor one day prior to trimming in particular area and shut down of that area will be arranged by department.
51Cutting the existing road/ Hard standing for passing pipe and making good the disturbed surfacesby using 15 mm thick 1:4:8 in foundation type D-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in mass concrete complete all as specified exists complete all as specified.

54Taking down existing old unsv LT panel board with all accessories and Supply, installing, erecting, commissioning and testing newfactory made LT panel board cubical out door type of suitable size for housing of all equipments & proper heat dissipation, CPRI approved weather/dust proof, made out of 3.15 mm thick CRCA sheet powder coated with front and back side openable with suitable cable chamber and front side shutters with locking arrangement, panel base of angle iron 50x50x6 mm upto 45 cm height for 433 volts, 3 phase, 4 wire system including TPN copper bus bar of rating not less than 1.5 times the rated capacity of the incomer MCCB. The TPN bus bar shall be insulated with colour coded heat shrinkable sleeves and shall be mounted on F class insulators. All interconnections between the main bus bar as well as outgoing feeders shall be carried out with TPN copper bus bar of rating not less than 1.5 times rated capacity of individual outgoing feeders. All control wiring shall be with FRLS PVC insulated 6 sqmm multi-stranded copper conductor and shall be properly bunched. 60M&L for dismantling the cable connections offour pole/ three pole Air circuit breakerof capacity upto 1000 Amps, 415 V, 50 Hz of MakeLegrand/ CG/ L&T/ABB/ Havells/ C&S or other existing make, strip opening the Air circuit breaker, inspecting the parts for serviceability/ overhauling complete and carrying out the following repairs/ maintenance:- a) Cleaning the insulation parts including bushings with CTC solution. b) Checking the alignment and condition of movable and stationary contacts and adjust them all as per manufacturer"s instructional manual. c) Check the bolts, nuts, washers, cotter pins and all terminal connections are in place and tights. Replace the worn-out parts. d) Check arc chutes for damage. e) Clean and lubricate the operating mechanism with a light machine oilfor pins and bearings and with a non-hardening grease for the wearing surfaces. Adjust breaker operating mechanism all as per manufacturer"s instructional manual. f) Checking / inspectingshunt trip coil for serviceability and replacing the same if required. g) Checking control device free for operation. j) Check after servicing the circuit breaker to verify the contacts move to the fully opened and fully closed positions, that there is an absence of friction and that the electrical operation is functional. NOTE : Spare parts replaced shall be maesured and paid seperately as supply only.
