Wherever Required As Per Following Specifications:- I ) Carefully Dismantling And Removing The Loose / Damaged Patch Plaster / Concrete To Expose The Surface Of The Intact Concrete And Corroded Reinforcement Bars, Using Necessary Tools, Thoroughly Cleaning The Exposed Surface Of The Concrete & Reinforcement / S Using Wire Brush With Clean Water. Ii ) Providing And Applying A Coat Of Rust Remover Of Approved Make To The Rusted Steel And Removing The Rust By Steel Brush Of Good Quality After Application Of Rust Iii ) Providing And Applying Two Coat Of Rust Preventing Polymeric Coating To Steel Bars Of Approved Make Duly Mixed With Cement In Proportion By Weight ( Cement : Chemical ) As Per Manufacturer?S Specification. Please Refer To Part-I Tender Document. 2 Civil Works Polymer Modified Mortar For Additional Thickness / Depth: Providing And Applying Additional Depth Of Polymer Modified Mortar When The Depth Of Dismantled Portion Is Greater Than 20 Mm. The Rate Shall Be Quoted For The Additional Depth Upto 50 Mm, Applied Over Initial 20Mm Depth, As Given In Item No 1 Above. 3 Civil Works Providing And Fixing Double Layer Of Expanded Poly Propylene Of 15 X 20 Mm Approx. Opening Mesh Size Of Approved Quality Over The Junctions Of Brick Panel Walls And Rcc Beams / Columns Edge Of In All 200Mm Width, Placed 100 Mm On Either Side On The Junctions With Necessary Gi ?U? Nails, Opening The Junction, Packing The Gap / Void At These Junctions With Ready Mix Cement Mortar , Thoroughly Pressed With 15 To 20Mm Size Metal Stones Doing Work At All Heights And Lifts, All Complete Done In Workmanlike Manner As Directed By The Banks Engineer. Note:The Rate Shall Be Including Scaffolding. 4 Civil Works External Waterproof Plaster Using Ready Mixed Polymer�Cement�Mortar. Applying External Waterproof Plaster Using Ready Mix Polymer Cement Mortar Plaster Of Approved Make As Specified Below: I ) Carefully Dismantling And Removing The Existing Loose / Damaged Plaster Of Any Thickness On The External / Internal Common Area Surfaces Of Walls At All Levels, Mumty Rooms Etc. Upto Rcc / Brick Surface As Directed. Ii ) Applying Bond Coat Of Approved Make Over The Exposed Brick Wall / Rcc Surfaces As Per Manufacturers Specifications. Iii ) Providing And Applying New Sand Faced Cement Plaster Of Minimum 20Mm Thick In Two Coats By Using Ready Mix Polymer Modified Cement Plaster Of Approved Make Including Surface Preparation In Proper Line And Plumb. Refer Part I Of Tender Document. 5 Civil Works Checking By Tapping The Entire Terrace Horizontal Top Surface With Light Hammer And If Found Sounding Hollow Same Surface Shall Be Identified And Carefully Removed Upto Top Of Brick Bat Coba Using Light Hammer Chiselling Manually, Making Good The Dismantled Portion By Providing And Laying Ready Mixed Cement Plaster Of Required Thickness Matching To The Surrounding Surface, Mortar Shall Be Laid Over The Approved Bond Coat On Exposed Brick Bat Coba And Finishing The Top With Smooth Cement Float Finish. 6 Civil Works Waterproofing Work I ) Carefully Preparation Of The Existing Surface Of Terrace Including Watta By Grinding Or Mechanical Means To Make The Surface Fungal Free, Rough To Form Grip For Coating, Free Of Dirt Particles, Etc. Upto The Satisfaction Of Banks Engineer And As Per Manufacturers Requirement, Uprooting Plants / Shrubs Grown On The Surfaces, Filling The Hole If Formed Any With Ready Mixed Plaster, Cleaning The Surface From Dust Or Any Other Loose Particles, Treating The Surface Cracks By Making A Groove Of Required Depth And Width, Cleaning The Same And Filling It With Waterproof Sealant Grout Of Approved Make After Application Of Waterproof Primer Coat Of Approved Make. Providing And Carrying Out Water Proofing Works For Terrace Horizontal Surfaces With Elastomeric Waterproof Coating Of Approved Make Comprising The Following Specifications. Refer To Part-I Of Tender Document 7 Civil Works Waterproofing Of Vertical Walls Providing And Carrying Out Water Proofing Works For Parapet And Head Room Vertical Walls With Flexible Waterproof Basecoat + Wp Paint Coating Comprising The Following Specifications; I ) Surface Preparation : Clean The Surface With Water And Coir Brushopen All Major Cracks With Grinder Treat All Surface Cracks By Opening It In V Groove Shape By Mechanical Means. Providing And Filling The Cracks With Approved Make Ready To Use Elastomeric Sealant Or Equivalent Etc. Complete As Per Manufacturer Specifications And Directed By Banks Engineer.Scrubbed The Algae And Fungus With Coir Brush ( Dry Surface ) . Ensure All Leakages Of Water Pipes In Wall Area Shall Be Arrested Before Painting.Remove Old Putty / Primer / Paint From Surface And Reach Plaster Level.Remove All Old Waterproofing Coating From The Surface Allow Surface To Dry Properly Do Not Apply Paint On Wet Surface.
