26(SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES (CIVIL WORKS) PART-B) 1.0 Providing and fixing 98 mm thick metal stud fire resistant non load bearing partition wall for 2 Hrs. fire rated at all leads and lift comprising of a composite frameworkwhich includes a 48 mm stud of 0.55 mm thick and having two unequal flanges of 48 and 50 mm each or 50mmx50mm steel tubes placed at 610 mm centre to centre in 50 mm floor and ceiling channel with two equal flanges of 32 mm each fixed to floor and ceiling at 600 mm center, with the help of nylon sleeves and wood screws. Two layers of 12 mm thick calcium silicate boards like Hilux or equivalent are then screw fixed to the studs and chennels at 200 mm centres on both sides of the frame work, with 25 & 35 mm long self drilling& tapping screws having Phillips head with under head cutter, for first and second layer boards respectively. The board"s joints are to be staggered to avoid through passage. Insulated with 50 mm thick (Density -64 Kg/cum( Ceramic Wool mat is to be placed in the cavity of the partition. Finaly edges of the Boards are to be jointed and finished so as to have a flush look which includes filling and finishing with specially formulated jointing compound and 48 mm wide self-adhesive fiber tape. Cement Primer (Oil based ) to be provided on entire surface before putty/painting. Complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. Note: A horizontal bracing channel is to be provided for every 4 feet level on both sides, if the partition height exceeds the board length to provide edge support to the board.
272.0Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side of building/structure, upto 25 metre height, above ground level, including additional rows of scaffolding in stepped manner as per requirement of site, made with 40mm dia M.S. tube, placed 1.5 metre centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joint with cup & lock system with M.S. Tubes, M.S. tube challis, M.S. clamps and staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for execution of work of cleaning and/ or pointing and/ or applying chemical and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connecting with the building etc, wherever required, if feasible, for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc., complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge. Note:- (1) The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose.(2) The payment will be made once only for execution of all items for such works.

305.0 Welding by gas or electric plant including transportation of plant at site etc. complete.
316.0Providing and applying two coats of fire-retardant paint on cleaned wood / ply surface @ 3.5 sqm per litre per coat including preparation of base surface as per recommendations of manufacturer to make the surface fire retardant.
327.0 Applying one coat of water thinnable cement primer of approved brand and manufacture on wall surface: Water thinnable cement primer.
338.0 Finishing walls with water proofing cement paint of required shade : New work (Two or more coats applied @ 3.84 kg/10 sqm).
