| 1 | Supply and unload potable drinking water through water bowser from water source to under ground sumps/Overhead bldg tanks at COAST GUARD LAND, GOA UNDER GE(I)(CG)GOA complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge Note:- (a) The water bowser shall be fitted with electrical/diesel driven pump set alongwith PVC flexible pipe of required diameter and length for lifting the water up to 20 mtr head with sufficient lengthfor lifting the water upto 20 mtr head with sufficient length of PVC pipe. (b) Contractor shall supply water in Hygienically neat and clean water bowser free from dust, dirt and scales. (c) Water bowser to be used for carrying potable water shall be painted with EPI coating internally. (d) The contractor shall produce the potable test certificate of water supplied from Govt authorised agency. The periodically testing of water shall be every 3 months. (e) The sources of water to be supplied shall be intimated well in advance for Inspection of Engineer-in-charge. (f) The sample of water from the source shall be fwd to Govt agency before supplying the water for potability testing. Rate quoted is included for this provision the contractor shall be responsible for providing the necessary chemical and bacteriological test certificate from an approved Govt Lab before commencing the supply of water. (g) The contractor has to visit the site before quoting tender. (h) Testing of water for all parameters as per IS:10500-2012 in a Govt approved laboratory complete all as specified and directed. Water to be tested as per Table 1 to table 6 of IS 10500-2012 for general parameters, concerning substances undesirable in excessive amount, parameters concerning toxic substances, parameters concerning radio active substances, pesticides residues limits and test method and bacteriological quality of drinking water as per IS 10500-2012 in Govt approved NABL laboratory complete all as specified and directed. Sample of water shall be taken jointly by the representative of Engineer in Charge and the contractor from the approved source of supply. |
