6 | Note for Item Serial No 1,2,3,4 & 5 above:- (a) Above all attending to complaint/ breakdown calls when called upon.Repair/ replacement of microprocessor control if installed.Reporting the healthiness of the plant and suggesting improvement (if any). (b) The work will be carried out either by Voltas personnel of its authorized sub-contractors as directed by Voltas. (c) This scheme does not cover damage to equipment/ ancillaries or failure due to environmental conditions and due to contaminated/ hard water, there items measured and paid separately under respective schedule. (d) Each plant will be tested in the presence of GE, Engineer-in-Charge and representative of the user unit. (e) The test results shall be recorded and shall be preserved duly signed by the Contractor, GE, Engineer-in-Charge and representative of the user unit. (f) The contractor shall get the sample of all the materials approved from GE in presence of representative of user before placing the order for bulk procurement. (g) The material procured and brought at site by the contractor shall be got approved from Engineer-in-Charge in presence of representative of user before incorporation in the work:- (a) Clean water strainers.(b) Check the earth connection and fuses. (c) Clean the condenser and other equipments. (d)Check for leakage of gas (exterior). (e) Clean the controls. (f) Clean all the air filters. (g) Check compressor oil for discoloration or contamination. (h) Check starting and running current and voltage while running. (j) Check the insulation resistance valve. (k) Defrost cooling coil, close suction line slowly and not the efficiency. (l) Check leak in the seal of shaft. (m) Check leak LP and HP cut-outs i.e. 5 lbs/ inch 2 for LP and 150 lbs/ inch 2 for HP. (n) Check expansion valves. (o) Check the entire syswtem with the help of water and soap. (p) Clean the drip tray with water. (q) Check the condition of blower fans, shafts and its direction of ratation. (r) Check the duct condition. (s) Check the working of the plants and limits of vibration and noise. (t) Carryout the capacity test.(u)Check suction and delivery of the compressor and its efficiency. (v)Clean the condenser with compressed air, brush and water carryout pressure test at 250 psi of CO2 for any leaks.(w) Dismantle the weather make chamber by removing duct connections and opening the return air box, clean the evaporator coil, drip tray, ducting and repair the return air box (if required), paint the system and re-install the same. (x)Overhaul the blower motor including cleaning of runners. (y)Check the service valves for wear.(z)Overhaul the compressor motor and starter (aa)Clean the contacts of LP/HP switches (ab)Check the adjust the alignment of velts and their tension (ac)Check the wiring and all the connections including meggering (ad)Complete test for leaks (ae)Check termostatic switch and clean the contacts (af)Water cooled system/ water line cleaning and painting including cooling tower (ag)All pump any size overhauling and repairing/ replacement of unserviceable gland/ shaft/ bearing/ gland cooping complete (ah)Cooling tower cleaning with scrappers. |
