311.20 :Grading - II B) Manual means with 11.2 mm Type B Screening
4Repair to pot holes by removal of failed material, trimming the side to vertical and levelling the bottom , cleaning the same with compressed air or any appropriate method , filled with B.M. ( thickness not more than 75 mm in single layer) applying bituminous primercoat at the bottom and bitumen emulsion tack coat on sides and on bottomas per Techinacal Specification clause 303.1 for Rural Roads of MORD.
5Prime Coat : Providing and applying primer coat with Cationic Bitumen Emulsion of approved grade conforming to IS : 8887 -1978 and reuuisite quantity on prepared surface of Granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer using Mechanical means including cost and carriage of bitumen emulsion and all other incidential costs of work complete as per Clause 502 of Specification for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).
6Tack Coat :Providing and applying tack coat with Cationic Bitumen Emulsion of approved grade conforming to IS : 8887 -1978 on the prepared surface cleaned with hydrolic broom, moistening the surface including cost and carriage ofemulsion, hire chareges of machinery & labour, cost of fuel and lubricants allcomplete as per Clause 503 of Specification for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).
7On Bituminous Surface : using Bituminous emulsion at the rate of 0.2 to 0.3 kg /sqm.
8On Granular Surface treated with primer: using Bituminous emulsion at the rate of 0.25 to 0.3 kg /sqm.
9Bituminous Macadam using Mobile Hot Mix Plant (Light Duty): Providing and laying bituminous macadam with Mobile Hot Mix Plant (Light Duty) using approved crushed aggregates of specified grading as per Table 500.7 premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site laid over a previously prepared surface at specified laying temperature by means of approved and suitable arrangements to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled with suitable power roller for break down, inter-mediate and finished rolling as per specification to achieve the desired compaction including cost and carriage of stone materials and bitumen, hire charges of machinery and equipment, cost of fuel and lubricants and wages of operational staff, quality control complete as per Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).
10For Grading 2 (19 mm nominal size, 50-75 mm thick.)
11Open graded Premix surfacing using Bituminous (viscosity grade Paving bitumen / Modified bitumen ) binder & Mobile hot mix plant(Light duty) :Poviding ,Layingand rolling ofOpen graded Premixed Surfacing of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2mm ( @ 0.018 cum per sqm ) 11.2 mm (@0.009 cum per sqm) size stone aggregates including throughlycleaning of the surface, screening cleaning and preheating stone chips and fully pre-coatingthe same either using viscosity grade paving bitumen or cut back or emulsion carrying the mixture by any suitable arrangement ,laying the mixtureuniformly over the surface, including line , grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously preapered base , including mixing in Mobile Hot Mix plant (Light duty )throughly rolling with a smooth wheeledroller 8 -10 Tonne capacity , finished to required levelchips and matrix, heating the matrix , preheating the aggregates to required temperature and including the hire charges of Mobile hot mix plant (light duty ) and othermachineries , pay of oparatrors and cost of fuel and lubricants etc. complete to be followed by seal coat of either type A or Type B as per technical Specifications Clause 508 for Rural roads for MORD..
12Providing and laying Premixed Seal coat (Type – B) with approved qualitysand / grit@ 0.6 cum per 100 sqm andbitumen binder on throughly cleaned black top surface coated with tack coat, including heating and mixing cleaned sand / grit (100 % passing through 2.36 mm sieve and retained on 180 µ sieve ) uniformly with bitumenbinder ,laying and spreading the mix at an uniform rate using suitable means, brushing the surface, if necessary, to ensure uniformaty, followed by rolling with power roller including the cost and carriage of binder and aggregates, cost of heating the binder and aggregates and all other incidential charges, cost of fuel and lubricants, including hire charges of machineries, tools & plants required for construction and quality control complete as per Clause 511 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT & H (5th Revision)
13ByManual means with hot Bitumen binders (@ 6.8 kg/ 10 sqm) with Pakur variety.
14Dressing and chilchalling Road flanks including cutting and filling with earth up to 150 mm average thickness finished withutward cross-grade of 1 in 30.
15Supplying fitting and fixing plaque made of Granite slabs ( single piece)of 15 mm to 18 mm thick with uniform texture and without decorative veins in facia etc fixing with using Cement slurry at back side of granite @4.4 kg/sq.m andwhite cement slurry for joint filling @1.8 kg/sq.m.including making lettering , sign marks etc as per direction in the granite slabs withfixed at brick wall (in 1:6) as directed including earth cutting , 75 mm thick sand filling , 75 mm thick Cement concrete (1:2:4) and plastering with 20 mm thick sand cement mortar (6:1)as specifed by the Department including wall putty ,Acrylic primer & Super Protective 100% Acrylic Emulsion two coatsincluding all incedential charges for labours , materials , machinaries & transportig charges complete in all respect as per direction of EIC.
