23Preparing newly plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of Cement based paint over one coat of suitable primer complete all as specified.

28(a) Alternator :- Alternator shall be of capacity 40KVA/32 KW net out put at work site after considering derating factor as per Dehradun and temperature condition as applicable at power factor 0.8, AC 3 Phase, 4 wire, AVR system, screen protected, ball/roller bearing with damp proof cooper winding on each pole to base as pre relevant IS code all as specified (b)Diesel Engine :- Diesel engine shall be vertical type of adequate capacity suitable for above alternator after considering derating factor as per Dehradun confirming to relevant IS code having provision of coupling shaft to drive the above alternator independenlty after considering power loses in all the accessories forming part of the set i.e. coupling any type, Turbo charger, Fuel Pump, Fan etc.Engine should be of multistage, vertical multi cylinder water cooled, 4 stroke, common rail direct injection, cold starting, RPM 1500, industrial type, standard accessories complete in all respect including following provisions all as specified & directed :-
29(Note :-DG set will be confirming to notification of Min of Environment). (i) Fly wheel with housing. (ii) Air clearance dry type (iii)Corrosion resisters. (iv) Fuel Filters, Oil Filters. 30(viii) Electrically starting system consisting of following items :- (a) Lead acid battery 12 volt 150 AH initially designed - 01 Nos (b)Self starting. (c)Alternator 12 Volt DC complete with holding clamps. (d)start/stop push button, ignition, switches withkey system (e)Battery charging system including regulator and generator/alternator. (ix)Engine shall be with turbo charger. (x) Engine protection device low lubricant oil pressure high water temperature and high oil temp over speeding of engine. (xi) Water temp guage, oil temp guage, oil pressure guage, Ameter for display battery charging + Amps etc. (xii)MS fuel tank with breather suitable for 8 hours running on full load with level marking arrangement, stop cock, drain plug made out of 14 SWG sheet metal in built in side base frame inlet and out let connection. 31ACOUSTIC ENCLOSURE: Sheet metal fabricated cope type accoustic enclosure fabricated out of 1.6mm CRCA sheet, surface pre treated with foam materials and pure polyester powder coating complete , the enclosure shall be designed for reducing the sound level to 75 DB at a distance of 1 M from enclosure surface in free field condition suitable for using with AMF system and foundation etc complete all as specified and directed by Engg-in-charge and comprising of the following :- (i) Foundation/ Plinth/Base:- Shall be provided as per manufacturers recommendations, however minimum 0.5 m Space should be available all around the Set and height of plinth shall not be less than 0.5 M. (ii)Diesel storage tank:- Diesel storage tank of capacity adequate for storage of diesel for 8 hours operation of Gen Set. (iii)MISC: Tool kit, Operation and Maintenance catalogue, spare part list, overhauling manuals, guarantee card etc shall be provided as per manufacturer standard practices.
32AMF CONTROL PANEL SPECS : (i) Automatic Mains Failure (AMF) Control Panel, factory made shall be able to start up the DG set and transfer the load on to the DG set on mains failure without requiring any human intervention. Similarly on restoration of mains supply, it shall be able to transfer the load to mains supply and switch off the DG set automatically.(ii) The AMF panel shall be an enclosure with IP-53 degree of protection confirming to IS/IEC 0947(Pt-1)/2007, fabricated from minimum 14 SWG thick CRCA sheet duly pre-treated and aesthetically finished.(iii) The AMF Control Panel shall have the following instruments: (a) Power control unit with bakelite LCD display having features or display Microprocessor based :- (i) Generator Voltage/AC Mains Voltage. (ii) Generator Current. (iii) Power Factor (iv) Frequency. (v) Energy. (vi) Three attempts Engine Start/Engine Cranking Relay. (vii) On -delay timer for Load Change Over. (viii) On-delay timer for Engine Shut Off. (ix) Over Current Relay
33(b) Mode selector switch for setting the panel on any one position such as off or Auto or Manual or Test. (c) Engine On-Off switch (Push Button type). (d) MCCB of 100 Amps rating shall be provided. (e) Rectangular Aluminum bus bars (One number for each Phase, Neutral and Earth terminals) of adequate ratings duly color coded with heat shrinkable PVC sleeves. (f) Two contactors of suitable rating (One for DG Set & one for AC Mains) with Over Load Relay. (g) Under-Voltage Relay for Mains. (h) Battery Charger complete with Voltage Regulator, Float or Booster Selector Switch, On-Off Switch, Voltmeter and Ammeter for charging the battery from mains. This will be in addition to the battery charging alternator fitted on the engine. (i) Instruments & Control Fuses. (j) Five numbers indicating lamps to indicate "Mains On", "Load On Mains", "Set Running", "Load On Set" & "Battery Charger On". (k) Audio visual alarm for "Low Lubricating Oil Pressure", "High Water Temperature" (for water cooled), "High Cylinder Head Temperature" (for Air Cooled),‘Start Failure" and "DG Over Load". (l) Any other switches, instruments, relays or contactors etc. essential for smooth and trouble free functioning of DG set with AMF panel. (To be specified by customer for supplier’s approval & price variation, before placing order with complete details of the item).
34NOTES FOR ITEM NO.1 (i)The DG panel and AMF panel shall be complete with internal wiring with suitable size of multi stranded copper cable. The control cables and relays of various panels are included in the scope of this items. (ii) Tools shall be supplied as per manufacturer"s instructions and rate quoted is deemed to be included in the cost of DG set (iii)Necessary grouting including mild steel work and anti vibration pad shall be provided by the contractor (iv)First filling of lubricants / engine oil/ Deisel for 10% over loading for one hour in twelve hours duration by artificial electric loadtest run deemed to be included in the rate quoted for the item. (v)Necessary PCC foundation alongwith one meter plinth protection including connected earth work for installation of DG Set shall be provided as per manufacturer"s recommendation and cost deemed to be included in the rate quoted for the same. (vi)Necessary 10% over load test shall be carried out in the presence of Rep of accepting officer/IEM (vii)2 Nos of chequered rubber Mat (Red colour) heavy duty size of 1 mtr x 2 Mtr x 19 mm with ISI marked completedeemed to be included in therate quoted for the item. (viii) The contractor shall be carry out all electrical incoming/outgoing connection of cables including cable glands, thimbles, nut, bolt, washers, etc, cable will be measured and paid under respective items of schedule. (ix) Contractor shall submit the complete drawing of DG set with AMF panel which showing the complete drawing, capacities of all controlss, contacts, relays, etc including its make.
35Materials and labour for earthing complete with galvanised iron earth plate electrode of size 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm thick, burried directly and preferably vertically in ground, earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below ground level connetced with and includinggalvanised earthstrip of size 32 x 6mm by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts and washers made of galvanised iron or steel earthing lead to be protected by galvanised iron pipe 40 mm bore (medium grade) and other end connected to earthing test point or lightening arrestor or main controlling switch as directed including providing funnel with 20mm bore galvanised iron pipe (medium grade), wire mesh, charcoal or coke and common salt in alternate layer of 15cm (compacted thickness) all round the earth electrode, concrete earth pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (with 20mm graded aggregate), 50mm thick precast RCC (1:2:4) cover slab (re-inforced with 8mm dia TMT bar @ 15 cm C/C bothways and suitable handle made of 10mm dia) including necessary earth work in excavation, returning filling and removal of surplus earth upto a distance not exceeding 50 m etc all as shown on electrical plate No. 3 of MES Schedule Part-I(2009) complete including testing on completion all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.
36Supplying, laying, testing and commissioning of XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded galvanised steel strip or wire armured electric power cable(Heavy duty ) with aluminium conductor 1100 volts grade, cross sectional area size 50 Sqmm 3.5 Core.
37Supplying, laying, jointing and testingin replacement LT under armoured electric power cable 10 sqmm 4 coreXLPE insulated, Screned PVC bedded galavanised steel strip or wire armoured conforming to IS 7098 (Part-I) 1985 ISI marked with aluminium multi stranded heavy duty 1100V laid in trenches / under floor, roads path or fixed on walls / on poles in heavy duty etc. as specifiedand directed of following size including lugs / thimbles / Glands including connecting testing & commissioning all bare conductor duly insulated 1.1 kv grade heat shrinkable sleeve at both ends complete all as directed by E-in-Charge.
38M&L for sand cushioning in trenches for protection of UG cable with river bed sand laid dry in trenches before and after laying of cable, including well ramming and consolidation complete all as specified and directed. (Punned thickness shall be measured)
39Supply & Laying well burnt bricks, sub class "B" brick laid breadth wise, along the cable in trenches after sand cushioning laid for protection of UG cable protection complete all as specified and directed.
40Cutting existing road/hardstand of any type by using crow bar chisel uprto adepthof 30 cm for laying GI pipe including making good the surface by returning filling watering ramming in layers 150 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 over 200 mm thick hard core of broken bricks/stones over returning filling watering ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
41S&F and lay GI Pipe galvanized, “Medium grade”, on wall/with pole/under PCC/under Road/ Under Pavments50 mmdia for cable protection all as specified and directed.
42Supply trasportation upto and at site of work and erection of steel tubular swaged pole type 410 SP-31,9 mtr long conforming to IS - 2713 in vertical position, applying two coats of aluminium paint over a coat ofred oxide primer externally above ground level and a coat of anti corrosive below ground level and marking with alternate white and black paint strip 30cm wide total 5 Nos with synthetic enameled paint complete with cast Iron base plate , drilling of holes for cable entering and including cast iron base plate finial taper plug nuts and screws all as specified. incl dismantling of old u/s PCC pole/steel tubular pole ( PCC pole 22 Nos and steel tubular pole 32 Nos) including foundation concrete complete.(Note:-Excavation andearth work and PCC for foundation)
