| 3 | 2.1 | (i) Mobilisation and demobilization of men and materials to site, Shifting from one point to another for commencement of work as required/directed by Engr-in-Charge. (ii) Soil Investigation (Depth upto 25m) - 21 nos: Field work by Auger/Calyx, Dia of borehole 150mm, upto 25m or 3.0m in the rock strata whichever is earlier. Conducting field investigation and laboratory tests as per IS 1892 - 1979 RA 2002 and as per specifications below :-(a) Grain size analysis, Identification & classification of soil.\n(b) Unit weight (bulk density), natural moisture content, liquid limit, plastic limit, shrinkage limit, plasticity index, specific gravity\n(c) Dry density, degree of saturation of soil\n(d) Differential Free Swell (%) & Swelling Pressure if expansive soil is encountered\n(e) Shear Parameters (C-Phi Analysis)\n(f) Consolidation test & permeability test\n(g) Chemical analysis of soil\n(h) Chemical analysis of ground water (water to be obtained from bottom of bore hole)\n(j) Depth of water table below Ground level\n(k) Presence of loose soil, if any and its depth\n(l) If weak soil with lesser N value as specified in table-1 of IS 1893 (Part -I) 2016 is encountered then evaluation of liquification potential shall be assessed and remedial actions to be adopted shall be specified.\n(m) Undisturbed soil samples shall be collected at 1.5 m interval and at change of strata\n(n) Bore hole dia shall be 150mm. | 4 | 2.2 | (q) As per IS-1892 clause 3.6.5.3, drilling for 3.0 m depth inside the rock is essential to ensure that boulders or layers of cemented soil are not mistaken for rock.\n(r) For open foudations, Calculation of Net SBC at 1.5m, 2.0m, 2.5m, 3.0m from shear as well as settlement criteria, SBC value shall be calculated based on C-Phi analysis as well as SPT value, For calulations formulae given in IS : 6403 shall be used.\n(s) If pile foundations are required then depth of piles shall be mentioned and pile capacity in compression, uplift & lateral loads shall be given for 300, 400, 450, 500 dia for under reamed piles & for 450, 500, 550, 600mm dia for long piles.\n(t) Recommendations regarding type of foundation to be adopted & Net SBC/Pile capacities to be adopted. Also recommendations shall be given regarding stability of soil and soil stabilization required, if any.\n(u) Bore hole positions duly marked on plan and their distance from adjacent prominent reference points. Plan size of the bldgs shall also be marked in the plan. This plan shall be signed by GE, AGE & soil consultant. (v) Bore log details shall be as per Appx 'D' of IS 1892.
