10Spreading, Grading & Compaction of Ballast on new formation on track alignment at all locations with smooth wheeled power roller of 08-10 tonne capacity to sufficient number of passes to form consolidated ballast bed of min200 mm thckness to a width of 5 m symmetical to centre line of proposed track, to suit finished formation correct line & level with all accents and decents as directed by site in charge. with IRCON machineriesin dry condition.(Operator, fuel and maintenance by Contractor).Safety, security of machines including all other resources and safety personel protection is in the scope of the contractor.
11Leading and loading Railway"s ballast, collected at yard / depot / mid-section into Railway"s BOB / BKH / any other type of open wagon, using JCB or any other approved mechanised method with all ascents, descents, taxes etc. with lead of 250m & all lifts complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer in-charge.
12Unloading of ballast from Railway"s Hopper Wagons and distributing the unloaded ballast uniformly over the track and profiling and boxing {it also includes taking out jammed ballast.
13Carrying out all Initial Survey Works including taking formation top levels, centre line marking with total station,as per approved design for laying of initial ballast and for movement of NTC in 20 m interval in straight line and 10 m interval in curve. Pegs, Reference posts, lime shall be provided by contractor.
14Unloading/ Pulling of 250 m long 60 Kg HH rail panels from NTC rake onboth side of track alignmentand pairingfor rail threading with IRCON Loader in dry condition (Operator, fuel and maintenance by Contractor). Rail Rollers shall be issued to concrator free of cost on returnable basis from IRCON store. Roller maintainace & repair in scope of contractor.
15Placement of GRSP onall PSCSleeper laid during NTC working
16Installation ofElastic Rail Clips at Every 4thSleeper laid during NTC working to enable the safe movement of NTC rake.
17Installation ofFish plates with clamp at free joints with 60 Kg fish plate and Rail Clamps onNTC laid track for the safe movement of NTC rake.
18Final Track Linking as per specifications (Gauge 1676 mm) by spacing of sleepers at 600 mm spacing in Main Lines (sleeper Density 1660) and 650 mm (Sleeper Density 1540)on Loop lines squaring of sleepers, providing approved graphite grease as per RDSO specification and provision of complete fittings as perapproved track alignment/drawings.
19Providing survey Data Alignment and Level at an interval of 20 m in Straight portion and 10 m in Curve portion forevery round of tamping.
20Pre tamping and Post tamping activites( for each round of tamping). Tamping machine with two operators(one in front cabin and other at tamping unit), fuel and maintenance shall be provided by IRCON
21Quick cutting with abrasive rail cutter of all types of rail sections including wear resistant, head hardened rails upto 110 UTS, with contractors tools & plants, equipment, consumable with all lead & lift etc. complete as directed by Engineer in-charge. Abrasive Rail Cutter will be as per RDSO Specification No. TM/SM/1 (Rev. 01 of 2007) with latest status of RDSO; Rail Cutting Wheel Abrasive Disc will be as per RDSO Specification No. TM/SM/2 ( Rev. 01 of 2007).

24Drilling holes of 16 mm to 32 mm dia. with Rail Drilling machine in all types of rail section with contractor"s tools & plants, equipment, consumable with all lead & lift etc. complete, as directed by Engineer in-charge. Rail Drilling Machine will be as per RDSO Specification No. TM/SM/3, dated 24.04.1991 for 161021 .
25Ancillary works for Conversion of 250 M long LWR into CWR of One Km lengthincluding free rals of length up to 25 M long by On TrackFlash Butt Welding.
26Assembling complete BG Turnout Canted including symmetrical split on staging or on formation / ballast bed to correct gauge and alignment as per standard drawing on all types of rails over PSC sleepers at specified locations, duly leading special size sleepers, switches, crossings, fittings, fastenings etc. with maximum lead of 250m & all lift and testing points with S&T staff for throw of switch etc. at station yard after levelling surface complete and as directed by engineer in-charge. Note: (Rail cutting and Drilling shall be paid separately).
27Assembly and insertion of 1 in 8.5 Turnout on steel layout with hand lever complete with contractor"s resources for temp Cross over as directed by Engineer - in - charge.
28Dismantling of existing BG turnouts and trap switches with all types of rails on other than PSC sleeper layout, removing fish plates & fastenings, leveling of ballast to correct profile & stacking all the released materials, sleepers, fastenings, rails, switches & crossings including segregating & stacking at specified locations in a neat & countable manner, as directed by Engineer incharge :
29Turnout 1 in 8.5 on steel layout
30Manual Laying and Linking of Straight/curved BG track on formation/Girder/deck slab bridges and station yards of 52kg/60kg free rail(upto 13m long) on concrete sleepers of 1540/Km density with all fittings and fastening on clear cushion of ballast. The rate includes all lift, transportation of sleepers, rail, fitting within 1 km lead with contrcators own labor, tools and vehicles etc. the rate also includes pairing of rails, aligning, levelling and gauging of track, providing super elevation, transition with initial round of through packing etc complete in all respect as per specification so as to make the track fit for a speed of 20KMph including lubrication of rail joints with contractors grease & oil etc
31Fixing of Guard rails on bridges . 60 Kg running rails and 60 kg guard rails including cutting, drilling of holes complete
32Manufacture of flared portion of Guard Rail as per IRPWM manual /approved drawing by cutting, bending to required shape & RDSO approved drawings. Rails will be supplied by IRCON. ( Rate is for one set i,e. one side of the bridge). Transportation payable as per relavant BOQ item

61Providing Caution Watchman at a rate of one caution watchman per 8 hours shift with prescribed protection equipments from contractor at location where caution order is imposed; (Detonators, Banner Flags / HS Flags will be supplied by Railways) watchman to be on continuous vigil and exhibit necessary hand signals to the trains for their passage over caution spot : [ NOTE: 1) The above rate is for one location per day for 3 shifts of 8 hours each. 2) Banner flags and HS flags will be supplied by Railways. Contractor has to arrange 3 cell electric torch and tricolor light. 3) If Contractor fails to post watchman at any time during one day, penalty at double the accepted rates will be levied 4) The watchman nominated by the contractor will be screened for suitability as perRailway norms.] (This item shall be operated on requirement basis or as decided by Engineer). Proper records along with attendence/ roaster, flags to be maintained/provided at site).

64Anti-corrosive painting of rail outside track on rail bottom, web, foot and fishing plane as per requirement with two coats of bituminous emulsion without mica (IP No. 56192 and RDSO Specification No. IRS-P-30-1996) of reputed make including surface preparation, i.e. cleaning with wire brush / sand paper as a complete job as per Para 250 of Indian Railways Permanent Way Manual.
65Circular Stop Disc of 600mm dia. with vertical holding stand for fixing on emergency chain at level crossing.
66Provision of Emergency Chain Posts for level crossings as per Annexure 9/2 of Para 905 of IRPWM, duly cutting rail to suitable length & drilling holes, providing hooks & links / rings with necessary locking arrangements to fix emergency chain, duly excavating pit and fixing rail posts in vertical position, concreting base with cement, base painting two coats with paint of approved quality & colour over one coat of primer complete, as directed. {Note : (1) Rails & chain will be supplied by Railways, (2) Excavation and concrete work will be paid separately}.
67Supplying and driving into ground "C" class G.I. pipes of 20mm dia. x 150mm length for planting red flags and lamp at 5 metre on both sides from the centre of road at level crossings with all leads & lifts. Payment shall be made for complete work at one Level Crossing.
68Painting of P.Way Reference Post, Structures fencing etc. with enamel paint of approved make with different colours & letters, as directed by Engineer incharge.

71Manufacturing, supplying and laying at specified locations factory made CC block pavers for road surface of level crossings to RDSO Drg.No. M.00003, manufactured using 20mm size graded hard stone aggregates of approved quality with all contractor"s cement, labour, tools/plant and curing with all lead & lift as perspecifications and as directed by Engineer in-charge :

74Supply, Transportation and Delivery of Elastic Rail Clips MK - V as per RDSO Drg. No T - 5919 conforming to IRS T 31 -1992 (with latest amendmends. The rates are inclusive of Basic cost, GST, Transportation, loading, Unloading, stacking of materials.
75Supply, Transportation and Delivery of 10 mm thick Composite Grooved Rubber Sole Plate (GRSP)as per RDSO Drg. No T- 7010 Alt-1(to suit UIC 60kg 1080 HH Rails with PSC Sleepers, RDSO-T-7008, 1676 mm gauge, 25t axle load, WDFC standard) for Western Dedicated Freight Corridor Project CTP-12 in between Sachin to Vaitarna.The rates are inclusive of Basic cost, GSt, Transportation, loading, Unloading, stacking of materials.
