2 1.1 Grid TIED PCU 3 Phase suitable for 10 KW of STRING INVERTER (No Grid) IGBT technology ,400V15% 3 Phase ,50Hz It should comply IEC-60068-2 ,IEC-62109. Maximum peak power solar power tracking (MPPT) to extract maximum energy from solar array with remote monitoring system and with Hot spot /Wifi/GPRS/Ethernet LAN communication interface certified by MNRE with Operating temperature range -25 to +60C. Five years warranty complete.\nNote:\na) invertor should have Automatic isolation or islandig protection of SPV for ON Grid or low or Over voltage conditions with required respose time.\nb) adequate rated fuses and fast acting circuit breakers on input and output side of invertor with desconnecting/isolataing swithes to isolate DC and AC system for maintenance should be provided\nMake: Havells/BHEL/Polycab/ Solchrome
3 1.2 Mounting structure: \n(a) Mild steel structure, Hot Dip Galvanised of 80 micron thick, corrosion resistant and electrolytically compatible with material used in modular frame mounting Structure Shall be used. Galvanization shall conform to IS-2629, 4759 & 4736 as applicable. \n\n(b) On RCC roofs, the HDG mounting structure shall be fixed on pre fabricated PCC Blocks( M20). The RCC roof shall be chipped first and concrete adhesive shall be used to make bond between PCC block and RCC roof. The contractor shall submit the design, length, section, detailed layout etc. of the structure. Module mounting structure shall require to be customize with respect to the site availability.Test certificate of galvanization shall be submitted by contractor.\n\n(c) The contractor shall submit structural design on Stad- Pro based on Wind load of 180 kmph, live load and dead load of structure with solar panel & (seismic zone V). The structure should be capable of withstanding a wind load of 180 km/hr after installation of pre fabricated PCC blocks as per designed criteria . Any deflection to the mounting structure shall be as per IS 800:2007.\n\n
4 1.21 Note:\na)Design structural drawings of module mounting structure alongwith design calculations shall be submited by the contractor duly vetted from MNRE approved organisation/ NIT / IIT / Govt Research Institute which shall be approved and finalised by Garrison Engineer. The cost of same shall be deemed to be included in this item.\nb)The Structure shall be of Fixed type and the design of mounting strucutre shall be as per IS code.\nc) Minimum module ground clearance should be 300mm and Tilt angle of PV module shall not be less than 22 degrees\nd)All fasteners shall be of Stainless steel-SS 304 Nut & bolts, supporting structures including module Mounting Structures shall have to be adequately protected against all climatic condition.\ne) Any damage done to water proofing/roof structure/ Galvalume Sheet during installation shall be made good by the contractor at no extra cost.\nCIVIL WORK: Plain cement concrete (M-15),nominal mix,B-0 using 12.5mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregateas, in lintels upto 1.5 metreclear span,steps, seismic and other similar bends, coping, bends plates for serving hold fasts, filling in mild steel frames etc. and the like including weathering slighting rounded or chamfered angles and throating are including quated rate.
5 1.3 Supply and fixing , testing and commissioning DCDB ( DC Distribution board) panel made up of polycarbonate with dust , water and vermin proof arrangement( IP67) suitable for operation of three phase/ single phase , of capacity as per Solar Design with suitable No. of inputs and outputs with fuses, connectors,isolators and surge protection device type - II category conforming to IEC 60947, part - I , II and III complete all as specified and directed.\n Make : HAVELLS /L&T/Mersen/Phoenix/Hensel.\nSupply and fixing , testing and commissioning ACDB ( AC Distribution board) panel made up of powder coated CRCA sheet 3.15 mm thick dust , water and vermin proof arrangement (IP67) cubical type suitable for operation of three phase/ single phase , of capacity as per Solar Design with suitable No. of inputs and outputs with fuses, connectors,isolators and surge protection device type - II category conforming to IEC 60947, part - I , II and III complete all as specified and directed.\n Make : DELTA/HAVELLS /L&T/SCHNEIDER/POLYCAB\nNote-\n Incoming and outgoing MCCBs should be 1.25 times the rated current capacity of Inverter.Supply and fix DCDB ( DC safety unit) to consist of surge protection device , fuses protection grade IP-65/66 suitable for on grid 10 KW solar power plant and fixing with all suitable accessories complete all as per OEM specifications.
6 1.4 Cables and wires-\n(a) For the DC cabling, XLPE insulated and sheathed, UV-stabilized single core flexible copper cables shall be used; Multi-core cables shall not be used. The minimum DC cable size shall be 4.0 sqmm copper and size shall be selected considering the maximum voltage drop of 2%.\n(b) For the AC cabling, XLPE insulated and PVC sheathed single or, multi-core flexible Aluminium cables of suitable size as per the system design and site requirement shall be used considering the maximum voltage drop of 1 %.Outdoor AC cables shall have a UV-stabilized outer sheath.\n(c) The total voltage drop on the cable segments from the solar PV modules to the solar grid inverter shall not exceed 2.0%. \n(d)The total voltage drop on the cable segments from the solar grid inverter to the building distribution board shall not exceed 1%.\ne) All DC and AC cables from the SPV module and Inverter shall run through a Pre-Galvanized aluminium/HDG cable trays of height not less than 40 mm and width not less than 50 mm.\n(f) Cables and wires used for the interconnection of solar PV modules shall be provided with solar PV connectors (MC4) and couplers.\n(g) All cable trays shall be clamped to the rooftop, walls and ceilings with clamps at intervals not exceeding 50 cm.

8 1.6 Copper bonded maintenance free chemical earthing using 17.2mm copper Bonded Rod of copper coating thickness not less than 250 microns having a length 3 mtr with 25 x 3mm GI Strip and with copper plate and chemical compound not less than 20 Kilogram for each earthing as per IS 3043 /1987 complete all as specified under :- \n(a) Excavation and earth work for drilling hole for electrode in any type of soil. \n(b) PCC pit in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1. \n(c) Precast RCC cover with suitable handle 40 mm thick in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1, reinforced with welded steel wire fabric weighing not less than 1.87 Kg/Sqm.\n(d) Funnel with watering pipe of GI 20 mm nominal bore light grade and copper lugs etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. \n(e) 40 mm nominal bore light grade GI protection pipe 7.5 mtr long for protection of earthing lead from mechanical injury or tempering. \n(f) Requisite quantity of common salt and charcoal.\n(g) Testing of earthing.\nNote : \nOn testing after completion of earthing, if the desired earth resistance (less than 5 Ohms) is not obtained, the earthing will be re-done by the contractor at his own risk and cost to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.The earthing shall be done independently / separately for Mounting Structure, Inverter, lightening arrestor etc.
9 1.7 Lightening protection- \nThere shall be the required number of suitable Early Streamer Emission (ESE) lightning arrestors installed (As per Design to be submitted by sucessfull bidder) .The air terminal is Early Streamer Emission(E.S.E.) type which shall be fixed at the top of a stainless steel pole with base be atleast 4 meters above the structure to be protected.Its height above roof level would be dependent on the level of protection and the protection radii required.The air terminal should be working on the principle of early streamer emission using non-radio active technology,needing no external power source.The air terminal should be capable of tracking the lightning stroke 60 micro seconds earlier as compare to passive lightning rod. The air terminal is of stainless steel and it has qualified diameter to resist high values of lightning currents .Roof connection pipe should be capable of withstand in lightning strikes having dimension 60mm OD and thickness of 5 mm. Note- ESE type lightening arrester shall be provided for solar plant of capacity more than 50 kWp. For solar plants less than or equal to 50 kWp, Conventional Spike Lightening arresters shall be used having a minimum ball dia of 62mm, pipe length of 1200mm, Pipe outer diameter 25 mm, Pipe SWG Spike of 22mm, and spike of minimum 45mm.
10 1.8 Note :\na) Complete design of ON Grid rooftop solar PV plant shall be vetteed from any MNRE certified agency, and approved by GE before execution of item in works.\nb) The contractor shall submit design layout of all the equipments and sub systems of PV plant.\nc) The contractor shall submit schematif diagrem of electric system duly specifying sizes, current,voltag4e and fault level rating of cables, switch gears, instrumen;t,contrrol system and metering etc.\nd) Required NOC/Permission to set up roof top PV solar plant form HPSEBL will be taken by contractor before commencement of work.\ne) All accessories like connectors and cable required for interconnection of SPV modules ,HDP conduit, Insulateor, Lux, ETC, upto junction box of each string is included in item rate. \nf) Any damage done to water proofing/roof structure/ Galvalume Sheet during installation shall be made good by the contractor at no extra cost and nessasary pounding testing shall be done and approved by GE.\ng) However contractor shall be liable for the work executed under the contract for defect liability period as per contract conditions.\nh) The rate quoted shall be inclusive design of structure member complete. Ponding test shall be carried out for section of roof top where piecing( if any) of roof top done for fixing of mounting structure by contractor to deterct any leakage and rectify it as per the method specified by GE upto his Entire satisfaction
