2 1.01 Note for Item No 01 :- (i) In case of requirement, tradesmen provided per one area may be utilized in other areas at the discretion of the department without any extra cost to department as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) Rate quoted is deemed to be included for leave reserve/off of the staff employed. (iii) The rate quoted shall be deemed to include the cost of 02 pairs of uniform for tradesmen employed and the name of the contractor and the tradesman should be stitched on the front side of the shirt pocket. (iv) The rate quoted shall be deemed to including the Providing Log Books & Stationery for all above mentioned installations. (v) The necessary Tools & Plants shall be provided by the contractor. (vi) Group insurance, E.S.I & PF shall be provided to the operators by the contractor. Documents shall be submitted to the department. (vii) Wages to be paid to employee through individual bank account only and documents to be submitted to department. (viii) Minimum wages certificate along with attendance register and wage register shall be submitted for releasing of payment (ix) Minimum wages to the employees to be paid as per the norm published by the Min of Labour (wages as declared in particular specification ) and the same to be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.
3 1.02 (x) Each employee should be facilitated with adhoc bonus privilege as applicable in accordance with Govt Of India and the same to be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.(xi) In case of absence operator, double the rate quoted to be recovered. (xii) Departmental equipments of each building like fire fighting equipment, motors, pumps, Electric panels and its accessories copper brass materials etc., shall be under safe custody. In case of theft any item recovery shall be made from the contractor as per direction of Engr-in-Charge. (xiii) The Semi skilled tradesman should be qualified with minimum 05years of experience in handling the 11 KV installations/Switch gears, OH lines and UG cables (xiv) The skilled tradesmen should be ITI qualified and min 03years experience in working on 11KV distribution system . (xv) All people employed are responsible for cleaning and maintenance including restricting vegetation growth in his equipment surrounding area, upkeep of installations. \n(xvi) The contractor will adhere to pay monthly payment cycle to the employees irrespective of RAR/Funds availability with department to avoid embarassing situations to the principle employer.
