4 4 WATER COOLED CHILLED MACHINE AT SIGNAL SECTION: Design, Supply, Installation, testing & Commissioning of Factory designed and prefabricated vapour compression refrigeration water cooled scroll chiller units having nominal capacity not less than 52.5 TR having 17.5TR each x 03 Nos or nearby above ( 2 Working + 1 No standby) with one or multiple semi hermetic scroll type compressor of OEM recommended make with microprocessor control. The Units hall have compressor mounting arrangement on rubber Grommets with metal sleeves. Water cooled shell & tube type condenser. DX type evaporator duly insulated. Thermo static expansion valve with Extl. Equalizer. The unit shall be factory assembled duly tested, have filter dryer, pressure switch i.e. HP/LP, Electronic Thermostat Flow switch at chiller, Integral Refrigerant Piping & wiring, Accessories as required and called for, automatic and safety control mounted in central console Electronic microprocessor with soft starter panel cotrol over loaded protector including initial charge of Refrigerant and compressor oil comprising of following accessories / facilities: \nNote : (i) Contractor shall design layout plan of AC plant, SA / RA duct as per area of plant room available, volume of room & eqpt load,and user data given.Capacity mentioned in item is minimum. Contractor shall have liberty to provide next higher size of plant as per standard size available in market without any extra cost. \n(ii) Efficiency of scroll chiller package shall comply with ECBC norms. \n(iii) Contractor shall submit manufacturer certificate indicating power consumption.\n(iv) contractor shall submit make & model number of machine before giving order for approval of GE. \n(v)Contractor shall also responsible for arrangement of all phase I & phase II test as specified in PS clause 22 & 23 at page No 142 to 144. \nMake: BLUE STAR / CARRIER/Voltas / Kirloskar 1 Each Job
5 4.01 Scope of Work: \n\n(a) Set of Scroll type compressor hermetic complete with suitable capacity squirrel cage induction motor with class 'F' insulation suitable for operation on 415+ 10% volts, 50Hz, A.C. supply and automatic capacity control, safety switches, forced feed lubrication system etc. as per specifications.\n\n(b) Control panel for Close transition type automatic star-delta starter suitable for compressor motor complete with ammeter with CTs, over load protection, under voltage protection, protection against phase reversal & independent single phase preventors etc. complete as required. \n\n

14 7 AIR HANDLING UNIT :Design, Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of double skin construction Air handling unit for operation of supply and return air application capacity not less than 15000 CFM all as suitable for item 4 above, indoor type, draw through type of section alized construction, factory made, floor mounted made of 25mm thick modular AHU panels with GI casing of thickness 24 Gauge outside layer sand 24 Gauge inside layer injected with CFC free plyure than efoam (PUF) of 40kg/cum & 25mm+/-2mm thick density insulation complete with blower section, chilled water cooling coil section, filter section with muffler and access door to attend the motor/fan with lighting provisions and all accessories including necessary PCC foundation with vibration isolators all as specified and as directed by Engneer-in-charge including comprising of following :- 1 Each Job
15 7.01 (i) Cooling coil of 6 row deep copper tube with aluminium fins minimum 12 fins/inch with automatic controlled anti-freeze thermostat.
16 7.02 (ii) Blower section complete with blower AMCA certified centrifugal fan(s), belt drive backword curved fans, vibration isolators. 50 mm static pressure is considered for weather maker suitable for desired static pressure as specified, with minimum 2 bends GSS eliminators with suitable capacity TEFC squirrel cage induction motor (IP-55 and class F insulation) for operation on 3 phase 415 volt 50 HZ AC supply with belt driven pulley. The fan section should be mounted on antibibration spring isolation and free from main section.
17 7.03 (iii) 50 mm thick washable type pre-filters with filter element made out of synthetic non woven media supported by HDPE mesh on both side including stitching in diamond pattern complete including frame and suitable for efficiency 90% down to 10 micron EU-3 Type as per BS 6540 Part-I complete with mounting frame work.
18 7.04 (iv) Secondary dry type cleanable and easily maintainable air filter supported by GI wire and folder to form accordion plate having an efficiency of 99% down to 5 micron EU-5 TYPE complete with mounting frame works.
19 7.05 (v) Drain connection, stainless steel (SS304 Grade) drain pan and with necessary GI pipe for drain out the condensate to the open drain of the building.

The dampers shall also be provided with jam seal (compression type) on side stop revent spread of smoke and fire. 109 86 Outsourcing for maintenance and operation of central/package type AC plants alongwith DG Sets (all as per details given) and connected equipments/ assets in three shifts of 08 hours each, per day round the clock continuous duration including sundays and holidays during SUMMER / MONSOON / WINTER BY EMPLOYING ONE OPERATOR, Skilled ITI qualified in the trade for each shift at each location as given below :-\nNote : The rates quoted by the contractor shall include the Following :-\n(i) To maintain plant room, incl general cleaning of surrounding area.\n(ii) To maintain the log sheet / log book on daily basis, weekly, fortnightly and monthly.\n(iii) Uniform to be worn by the operator during his duty hours alogwith name plate of operator.\n(iv) DHPP for DG Set shall be arranged by the Deptt.\n(v) Replacement of minor parts of costing Rs. 500 per month.\n(vi) Providing cleaning & renewals T&P items.\n(vii) Routine cleaning of all machinem'es and eqpts.\n(viii) Routine checking of LT panel control panel, AHU panels periodically.\n(ix) Periodical maintenance of chillar plant weekly, monthly, qtrly, half yearly & yearly described in the manufacture mannual. Operator shall inform MES, the defects if any noticed timely after DLP and the same will be carried by dept if the repair cost is exceeding Rs 500 per month.\n(x) Contractor shall responsible to replace the machine/ compressor/ eqpts/ components if found un-servicable with in 24 hours during defect liability period.\n
