Installation Of New Torpedo Defence System Ntds Onboard One Large Naval Vessel At Nsry Kar , removal of all existing racks and fittings/brackets in paint store , degutting/ hotwork to be undertaken for cutting of bulkhead ( aft ) for shifting of winch , ( a ) following work to be undertaken in paint store compartment: ( i ) manufacturing and fitment of foundation/ mounting frames for installation of devices of ntds viz . , winch , fairlead , isolating switch and fiber optic junction box , commutator k-5l , b-1l rectifier ( ii ) fitment of cable tray with brackets and metallic conduits with securing clamps ( iii ) manufacturing and fitment of 14 mm ms plate ( 15 sq m ) along with stiffners ( b ) following work to be undertaken in sop compartment : ( i ) manufacturing and fitment of required brackets/ mounting frames for installation of devices of ntds viz . , recording device , 115v power supply fuse panel with seven 16a mcb , 380 power supply panel with 30a mcb , ntds processing cabinet ( ii ) fitment of gps receiver ( iii ) fitment of cable tray with brackets and securing clamps , modification of port ak630 deck involves the following: ( i ) manufacturing of required foundation / mounting frame for fitment and installation of torpedo decoy launcher and launcher control unit entailing hot work . ( ii ) fabrication of base foundation for fitment of gps antenna ( iii ) fitment of cable trays and metallic conduits with securing clamps , modification of starboard ak630 deck involves the following: ( i ) manufacturing of required foundation / mounting frame for fitment and installation of torpedo decoy launcher and launcher control unit entailing hot work . ( ii ) fabrication of base foundation for fitment of gps antenna ( iii ) fitment of cable trays and metallic conduits with securing clamps , ( a ) following work to be undertaken in mor ( i ) shifting of rcu of underwater telephone system ( uwt ) from existing place to designated place . ( ii ) manufacturing and fitment of brackets / mounting frames for installation of devices of ntds viz . , operator console , remote control unit ( iii ) fitment of cable tray with brackets ( b ) following work to be undertaken in bridge: ( i ) manufacturing and fitment of brackets / mounting frames for installation of devices of ntds viz . , operator console ( ii ) fitment of cable tray with brackets and securing clamps ( c ) cabling and connectorisation ( i ) 4 , 340 meters of cable laying for ntds system ( ii ) connectorisation of cables and grounding of all devices of ntds and pdds ( iii ) piercing of 65 in number existing glands and packing up of the glands post cable laying ( iv ) manufacturing of two new glands in 2t3 compartment for cabling
