23 15 Providing, laying,jointing & testing in trenches to be leveled to grades, BIS marked MSERW flanged pipes of following diameters conforming to IS/ISO 3183:2007 ( latest with up to date amendments) of steel grade L-290 and capable withstanding required test pressure in a random length of 5.5 to 6.5 metre, including manufacturing reducer/tappers, all short pieces, bends etc. as per site requirement made from parent tubes. The layers of pipe shall also include welding of flanged joints welding in three layers (Two inner one outer) and all operation such as cutting welding, jointing, fabrication of bends, tees etc. and lowering need laying in excavated trenches to ensure required level complete in all respects to the best specifications of Engineer-in-charge (Earth work in trenches is to be measured and paid separately) The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe. The pipe shall be factory galvanized zinc coating both inside and out side as per relevant IS standards and the damaged portion of pipe made from the parent tube, shall be provided anticorrosive treatment by applying two coats bitumens paint over priming coat as per AWWA specification C-203-1978. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814 of Advani Oerlikon/L&T of ISI marked make complete in all respect. (earth work in trenches to be measured & paid for seperately) including carriage of materials with in all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
