| 3 | 2.01 | NOTES for item No 1.00 & 2.00: \n(a) Contractor has to employ One No Skilled operator per shift of 08 hours having minimum ITI qualificaiton in Electric / Mechanic trade from Govt recognized institute with minimum 02 years experience in Maintenance & Operatiion of Sewage Treatment Plant & Swimming (Divers) Pool as applicable in each shift of 08 hrs (Total - 02 Nos per day for STP -III & Total - 02 Nos per day for Swimming (Divers) Pool) . The operator must be competent to carryout the routine maintenance of STP- III & Swimming Pool including maintenance of electrical panel board.\n(b) The contractor shall pay the wages to the Skilled operators through e-payment i.e Aadhar linked bank accounts (Credit to their bank account). Engr-in-Charge shall ensure that e-payment made to Skilled operators and their wages shall not be less than minimum wages fixed by state Govt or Central Govt whichever is more. Monthly e-banking statement shall be furnished by the contractor to the Engineer-in-Charge and the same shall be kept in record duly verified. \n(c) It is responsibility of contractor to deposit the employees provident fund (EPF) to the concerned authority as per the prevailing scales as laid down by the Ministry of labour for all Electrician/operator/helper (as applicable) and necessay proof to this regard shall be submitted to Engr-in-charge for verification and records. The quoted rate shall be deemed to be included of above provisions. In case contractor fails to produce the proof of EPF, he shall be liable for action as deemed fit. Decision of GE in this regard shall be final and binding.\n(d) The contractor shall maintain all the registers under various labour law rules, 2017 and shall be produced to GE and as well as officers detailed by labour department. \n(e) Power supply for operating the installation will be made available by the Department free of cost. | |||
| 4 | 2.02 | (f) Contractor will maintain proper records of all kinds of daily, weekly, monthly, Quarterly, half yearly, yearly or whatsoever maintenance is carried out during contract period in a binded book / register and will obtain the signature of Engineer-in-Charge every fortnightly.\n(g) The contractor will ensure general area cleanliness and upkeep of the installation and area around it on daily basis. In case of failure, a penalty of Rs 1000/- per month will be levied and recovered from their dues. \n(h) The routine maintenance/ checks shall be strictly carried out by the operator all as stipulated in the Operation & Maintenance Manual for STP No III & Swimming pool (as applicable) kept at AGE E/M office. | 5 | 2.03 | (j) The Contractor shall not employ same tradesman continuously for more than 11 months. \n(k) The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include for daily routine maintenance like checking and rectification of any leakage of water, checking and rectification of any loose connection, cleaning and general upkeep of plant room and area around it. \n(l) The contractor shall provide 02 uniforms to each operator & design of uniform shall be got approved from Engineer-in-charge. In case contractor fails to provide the uniform, recovery @ of Rs 1200/- per uniform will be recovered.\n(m) In case of failure due to absence of operative staff, the contractor shall be liable to pay compensation at twice the cost of a day’s Manning & Operation derived from pro rata rate of Sch ‘A’ quoted rates. \n(n) The rate quoted shall deemed to be inclusive of safety gear & required tools for minor maintenance. In case of failure to provide tools kit & safety kit (Gum boots-02 pairs, hand gloves), a penalty of Rs 3000/- will be recovered and levied.\n(o) Contractor shall submit test reports for STP-III from Govt approved Laboratory. In case of failure to submit test report within 20 days from date of sample, the recovery at the rate of double the actual cost of testing shall be levied.\n \n | |||
