3 2.1 Notes for Serial Item No. 1 & 2: The unit rate quoted shall be inclusive of following aspects:\n[a] The work shall be supervised by Two Nos. of adequately qualified Supervisors with relevant experience of minimum 5 Years in such jobs for proper functioning / organising / deploying his staff. Rate quoted for respective items under BoQ shall be deemed to be including the same.\n[b] The cost of the Complaint Slips, Registers, Log Books, Cost of T & P for Maintenance, Minor Consumables such as PVC Insulation Tapes, Screws, Fuse Wire, Clips etc. for the day to day maintenance.\n[c] Mobile Phone for communication system in the complaint cell so that the complaint can be lodged & feedback can be obtained.
4 2.2 [d] Conveyance for staff and materials drawn from the MES Store Yard shall be provided by the contractor.\n[e] Required Spare Parts will be issued under Schedule "B" by the department for free for fixing only.\n[f] One emergency light and necessary tools shall be available in a tool box with the Electrician in the shift for smooth functioning of Internal Electric Supply System. \n[g] Proper uniform with name plates displaying all the details shall be provided to the duty personnel complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. \n[h] The contractor shall ensure housekeeping, environmental cleanliness of Area all around the Complaint Cell and the area shall be kept absolutely neat and clean. \n[i] The contractor shall abide by the latest Labour Rules and Minimum Wages Act. Wages paid by the contractor to the persons employed shall not be less than the minimum wages fixed by State / Central Government from time to time whichever is higher. The contractor shall also insure the workmen employed on the job.\n[j] The contractor is responsible for Insurance, EPF, ESI, Bonus, Labour Welfare Cess etc., as applicable and shall be paid to the Workmen as per existing Labour Rules / Acts / Regulations and rate quoted shall be deemed to be included for the same. \n[k] DRESS CODE: The contractor shall provide the workmen with Dark Blue Colour Uniform [Formal Pant & T-Shirt] with labels showing / printed i.e. "Name of the Firm and Designation" on Front and "GE [NB] [V]" on the back of the T-Shirt along with protective clothing / gear. The contractor shall also provide shoes to the workers and the persons shall not be allowed to enter the work site without wearing shoes.\n[l] INSURANCE: The contractor shall be responsible for all Accidents / Injuries happening to the workmen. Any accident causing Minor / Fatal Injury, Partial Disability due to any untoward incident or non-adherence to Safety and IE Regulations or fault in maintaining of Internal Electric Supply System or on account of any mishandling / wrong operation / lack of knowledge of safety precautions or on account of any circumstances beyond his/their control, the contractor shall be solely responsible for settling all claims of compensation to the deceased, failing which department will have a right to recover any sum indicated / claimed by Labour Commissioner / Court authorities. No claim whatsoever will be entertained in this regard. No compensation is payable by the department on this account. Contractor shall provide first aid boxes to meet any emergency situations.
5 2.3 [m] The rate quoted by the contractor for Serial Item No. 1 & 2 shall be deemed to be including Basic Rate [Minimum Wages as notified by Government of India / State Government / Local Body, whichever is higher], employer's contribution towards Employees Provident Fund [EPF] liability, contribution towards Employees State Insurance Corporation [ESIC], contribution towards Bonus, Overhead and Profit and Labour Welfare Cess [LWC] as applicable depending upon the manpower requirement. This will create onus on the contractor to ascertain the relevant rates and quote accordingly. The rates quoted shall be inclusive of all Taxes, Cess, Levies as applicable including GST.\n[n] The prevailing Rate / Wage / Contribution shall be as applicable on the bid submission end date.\n BI01010001010000000000000515BI0100001114
