3 Description:- "Energy\rAudit"ofDMW/Patialacomplexincludingthefollowingsasperlatestguidelines&\rrecommendations of BEE: 1.(i) Preliminary consultation at shop floor with staff and supervisors etc. (ii) Initial data\rgathering and assessment of each area/location. (iii) On-site inspection. (iv) Data analysis and evaluation. (v)\rReporting. (vi) (a) Recommendations - Instant, short term, long term. (b)Tender like specifications with tentative\rrates and sources for each recommendations. (vii) (a) Submission of Form 2. (b) Assistance to submit Form 3\rand other documents to BEE as per time frame till the submission of Form 3. 2. (A) Study of power quality issues\rlike power factor, voltages, currents, active power, reactive power, apparent power, THD and harmonics at\rvarious load feeders. (B) Analyse the heat dissipation from electrical equipments and identify the hot points and\rprovide suggestions to reduce the losses due to heat dissipation. (C) Study of performance of all the major\rmachines provided in workshop area and furnaces in paint shop & Bogie shop in terms of loading and KW\rconsumption. Signifying energy conservation options for optimizing performance of these machines. (D) Study of\rperformance of compressors in terms of air intake, receiver capacity, air consumption, FAD, leakage in air\rdistribution, air pressure optimization and loading of compressors in existing system. Determine the exact energy\rconsumption pattern and review condition of equipment. Signifying energy conservation options in air compressor\rsystem. (E) Study of existing central air conditioning system and packaged AC units and water coolers for\rperformanceofcoolingandenergyconsumptionsignifyingenergyconservationoptionsinairconditioning\rsystem. (F) Study of sewerage treatment plant (STP) for energy consumption and performance output. Signifying\renergy conservation options in sewerage treatment system for optimal operation. (G) Study of fans, air circulator\rfans and exhaust systems in terms of volume, pressure and temperature rise across the fans in the existing\rsystems. Signifying energy conservation options in exhaust system. (H) Study of consumption of Liquefied\rPetroleum GAS (LPG) and suggest ways for conservation of the same. NOTE: The above scope of work shall\ralso include following activities: 1. (A) Feasibility report for setting up of Solar photovoltaic plants meeting the\renergy requirements of STP at DMW. (B) (i) Study for utilization of residual of sewerage system. (ii) Energy Audit\rof pumping system at STP (C) (i) Energy audit of water pumping station for DMW workshop and residential\rcolony of DMW/PTA with analysis of data as per existing requirements and future saving. (ii) Assessment of\rcapacityofmotors/pumpsandpipelinesusedinsystem (iii)Assessmentofcapacityofmotors/pumpsand\rpipelines used in system. (iv) Regulation of operation hours of pumping system.
