17 17 Material and Labour for replacement of replacement in earthing with copper plate electrode of size 600mmx600mm, 3.00mm thick burried directly in ground (Earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below normal ground level ) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to copper strip 20x3 mm dia connected to earth plate electrode by means of copper bolt, check nut and washers, earth wire protected with 40 mm bore light grade GI pipe all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES Schedule Part-I (2009), with and including PCC 1:3:6 type C1 pit with cover of RCC 1:2:4 type B1, reinforced with welded steel wire fabric not less than 4 kg per sqm with handle and angle iron frame, watering arrangement with 20 mm bore GI medium grade pipe, GI funnel with wiremesh, filling with mixture of common salt and charcoal, necessary excavation, refilling, removing away soil and earth work in any type of soil, including test point, testing and commissioning complete including painting and writing the earth value on the MS sheet cover all as directed.\n\n 6 EACH SET
18 18 Material and Labour for providing Chemical earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 900 mm x 600 mm x 5 mm thick buried directly in ground (Earth pit not less than 3.50 m deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 2.60 mtr below normal ground level connected to and including copper strip lead 32 mm x 6 mm size by means means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of tinned copper/brass in addition to brazing of all joints including excavation and earth work, GI pipe light grade 40 mm bore for protection to earth lead including charcoal dust - 200 Kg, common salt - 200 Kg and Magnesium Sulphate - 150 Kg , PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate in chamber and mild steel angle Iron frame 40 mm x 40 mm x 3 mm and 40 mm thick RCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in cover slab reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bar both ways at 100 mm C/C, PGI funnel and wire mesh 25 mm bore GI pipe light grade for watering including necessary earth work and testing complete. \nNOTE: \n(i) Earth plate shall be laid in vertical plane such a way that short side remains vertical. \n(ii) Earth plate shall have minimum cover of 300 mm thick of charcoal / salt on all sides including top and bottom. \n(iii) Charcoal and salt shall be laid in alternate layer of 150 mm each with total eight layers (each 4 layer of charcoal and salt). \n(iv) the earth test point of Gun metal / phosphorus bronze shall be located all as specified and directed.\n(v) After completion of the work while testing earth resistance, if the desired results not acheived, the contractor shall redo the complete earthing at his own cost. No extra claim whatsoever is admissable in this regard 1 EACH SET
