Payment will be made for the quantity assessed by\rcross section method only. 2. Initial cross section at regular intervals to be taken by the Engineer's representative\rjointly with the contractors and to be recorded for measurements purpose as per the special condition for earth\rwork. 3. The quantity of earth work furnished is only the net quantity after compaction. The contractor shall\rensure that sufficient quantity of earth is collected to get the finished level as per standard.
