9 9 Note for Item No. 1 to 8 : \n(a) The rates quoted is inclusive for attending all complaints of Internal / External electrification and water supply break downs including liasening with TNEB and Water Supply department to restore supply incase of break down / failure of supply.\n(b) Any other minor workand minor item like lugs to restore the electric supply as directed by the Engineer - in- charge. (c) The rate quoted is deemed to include the cost towards uniform for the staff employed for wearing during the working hours . the uniform shall be pant, shirt & shoes and the pattern of the uniform shall be decided by the Engr- in -Charge. \n(d) The rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of supply and maintenance of the documents such as log sheets of DG Set, Pump set, complaint register, Earth test register, Attendence register, Duty register, AC plant log sheet etc all as directed of the plant and plant maintenance record book and daily log sheet to be submitted to concered JE i/c before 1000 hrs of suceeding day ther wise absent report willbe initiated for those shift for which log sheet are not submitted. \n
10 10 Note for Item No. 1 to 8 continued ......\n(e) The rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of cost towards keeping the substation,DG Set,Feeder pillar box,DBs and pumphouse surrounding area neat and tidy during the entire period of contract. (f) The rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of tools and safety equipment required for running and maintenance of plants. \n(g) The contracor shall be fully responsible for making payment to the tradesman/ Helper as per the minimum wages act of the regional labour commissioner.(h) Checking of presence of chlorine on daily bases and PH testing as directed by Engr -in-Charge and to maintain the record of the same is to be carried out cost is inclisive of items required for testing of water. \n(j) Testing of water samples once in every five months as directed by Engr -in- Charge for chemical and bacteriological analysis from Govt Authorised Laboratory. \n(k) Necessary DHPP (Diesel) for the running of DG Set and Engine oil for toping of will be issued as and when required basis free for running the installations, contractor has to collect the Diesel/Engine oil from the MES. (l) Necessary inventory for the items installed at site to be prepared jointly for Handing Taking over of assets between Department and Contractor,any Deficiencies in items noticed during the period of contract,the contractor shall be liable to make good to the items with the the items of original specifications as received at the time of taking over. \n(n) It will be Contractors responsibility to submit all the documents as asked by the Security Department of the concerned area to obtain Necessary Entry Passs to the working area and copy of the same should be submitted to the Engineer In-charge.
11 11 Note for Item No. 1 to 8 continued ......\n(o) All the Plants to be kept in serviceable condition with Minor Repairs and Replacements not included in BOQ (Not costing more than Rs 5000 during the contract Period) Any Major Faults occurred to be intimated to concerned JE and Engr in Charge so that the same can be rectified immediately. (p) If any Person Found Absent from duty a recovery will be made @ 650 per day per person(Skilled) and @ 550 per day per person(Semi-Skilled) \n(q) Proof of payment made to the Employees deployed for the manning and operation duly signed by the contractor to be submitted to the Department for Records. \n(s) Spares required for urgent repair of E/M equipments will be issued as and when requried basis at MES store yard subject to availability of the stores. Cost for fixing of the any items is deemed to be included in item No. 1 to 8 in BOQ . \n(t) The power Factor to be monitored regularly and to maintain proper record.Incase of any fault in the APFC Panel the same to be intimated to JE/Engineer in charge Immediately.\n(u) Electrician has to operate the DG Set in case of Electric failure in addition to the duty of Electrician.\n(v) Electrician has to maintain the VCBs and close watch on HT fuses and GOD's.\n(w) One shift of 08 hours are considered, General maintenance of E/M Installations as and when needs during round the clocks all as directed by Eng-in-charge . \n\n
12 12 Note for Item No. 1 to 8 continued ......\n(x) Daily maintenance of installation all as per manufactures instruction including greasing , lubricating etc shall be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor.\n(y) Log sheet of all DG Set including daily running hours and maintenance carried out , consumption of grease,lubricants,DHPP (Diesel) etc shall be maintained by the contractor in their installation and same will be checked by th Eng-in-charge periodically and daily by JE.\n(z)The rate quoted shall be deemed to be included for topping up of battery electrolyte/distilled water,cleaning/replacement of battery terminals ,charging of batteries and replacement of fan belt,fuel pipe,fuel cap if required etc all as directed by Eng-in-charge.\n(aa) Cleaning of entire Sub station & equipments daily and the contractor shall be issued cleaning items such as brooms etc to the operator.\n(ab) Daily maintenance of water supply installations all as per manufactures instruction including greasing , lubricating etc shall be included in the unit rate quoted .The unit rates against the item shall be deemed to include the cost of minor repair to the foot valve system by replacing the leather flap, rubber insertion , nuts &bolts etc.\n
13 13 Note for Item No. 1 to 8 continued ......\n(ac)The AC plant shall be operated in three shifts of 08 hours .However the timings of duty may be changed as per the requirement at site and as directed by Engineer in charge and nothing extra will be paid on this account.\n(ad) Daily maintenance of Central AC Plant installation all as per manufactures instruction including greasing , lubricating etc shall be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor.The unit rates against the item shall be deemed to include the cost of minor repair of AC plant.\n(ae) DG Set/ Pumpset /AC Plant/ Electric supply installation shall be operated by any of the operater as required/directed by Eng-in-charge.\n(af) Cleaning of entire AC plant & equipments daily and the contractor shall be issued cleaning items such as brooms etc to the operator.
