10 10 Scope of work for item No. 1 to 9 shall be as under :-\n(a) Replacing oil filters \n(b) Cleaning of air filters \n(c) Checking of fan belt all nut bolt, etc \n(d) Top up the engine oil and radiator coolent. \n(e) Replace unserviceable PVC fuel indication tube \n(f) Top up the distilled water in the battery if required.\n(g) Replace unserviceable hose pipe as required at site\n(h) Replacing the primary, secondary and bye-pass fuel filters\n(j) Cleaning the radiator by using water blower/vacuume cleaner.\n(k) Draining out unserviceable engine oil from engine, refill with new oil.\n(l) Supply and replacing unserviceable "D" clamp, nut bolt, washers, etc.\n(m) Tools for the repairs and safety of the mechanic/engineer shall be at contractor's risk.\n(n) Supply and replacing unserviceable battery terminals and chrochodoile clamp as required at site\n(o) Cleaning all sludge/deposits in the oil sump and removal of dust deposited on DG set and its surroundings.\nNote :- \n(i) Distilled water, Engine oil and radiater coolent if any will be measured and paid separately.\n(ii) All spares and parts used other than mentioned above shall be measured and paid separately and all spares shall be recommended by manufacturer of the respective DG set and shall be purchased from authorised dealer of OEM.\n(iii) Servicing shall be caarried out through authorised dealer of OEM ie., manufacturer of the respective DG set and submit the servicing job card of manufacturer while claiming payment duly signed by user and dealer/OEM.\n(iv) Certificate of guarantee showing replaced parts duing servicing and paid voucher from OEM/dealer should be submitted while claiming payment.

37 37 M & L Dismantling the alternator of DG set from its base by using chain and pulley after removing the coupling with the engine, removing all nut, bolt with washer and all electrical connections of the alternator, shifting the alternator to work shop by crane and vehicle, opening into parts, checking all winding like main stator/rotor winding, exciter stator/rotor winding. Rewinding the main rotor and exciter rotor by using the "F" class insulation and existing gauge and type of magnet wire which was on the original motor, varnishing, heating, drying, greasing the bearings including replacement of unserviceable bearings, Re-fixing the complete including connection to the terminal box of the alternator at work shop and shifting the same to the site, Fixing the alternator to its base carefully by using chain and pulley, connecting it with existing engine including checking the alignment of alternator with the engine, connecting all electrical connections of the alternator and testing the DG set on "OFF/FULL LOAD", matching to the existing range of RPM of the engine out put voltage 415 volt and testing complete all as per the direction of the Engr-in-charge. 400 Per KVA
38 38 M & L Preparing surfaces of DG set canopy/complete body/LT panel board and applying painting two coats of superior quality synthetic enamel paint using spray gun (Area of painting not exceeding 3 sqm) including writing of incoming/outgoing feeder with letters, MES/SM Nos etc complete all as specified. 10 Each Job
39 39 M & L Taking down unserviceable heat insulation from exhaust piping and providing new heat insulation to exhaust pape using 50 mm thick mineral wool inside the container & upto the exhaust stack. The insulation shall be cladded/ covered with 24G aluminium sheet. Pipe length shall be maximum up to 12 Mtr long from engine including necessary welding works, cladding works with wire mesh and aluminium foil, replace unserviceable supporting MC, angle iron 50 mm X 50 mm X 6 mm , suitable size flange, nut, bolt and washers as required including weather cowl complete all as specified. 2 Each Job
40 40 M & L Dismantling exhaust manifold from the engine, detect the smoke leak, clean the manifold including welding works, replacement of unserviceable spares, packing, bellows, nut, bolt, washers, insulators, etc. reassembling and refixing on its base, testing by running the DG set NO LOAD/FULL LOAD complete all as specified. 2 Each Job

45 45 NOTE FOR ITEM NO. 41 TO 44 :- \n(i) The Mechanic/Engineer shal attend the complaints with in 48 hrs from the tele message/call from the Engineer-in-Charge or JE including Sunday and holiday.\n(ii) The rate quoted deem to include the cost of minor spares upto Rs 500 required to rectify the complaint. In this regard Accepting Officer's decision is final\n(iii) Major spares required for rectifying the complaint shall be measured and paid separately.\n(iv) Tools for the repairs and safety of the mechanic/Engineer shall be at contractor's risk.\n(v) The contractor is bound to send the Mechanic/Engineer within 4 hurs during the VIP/VVIP visit to attend the complaints if any without fail otherwise a penalty of Rs 500.00 shall be recovered per hour upto 24 hours and Rs 1000.00 above 24 hours.\n(vi) If the contractor failed to attend the complaint within 48 hours, a penalty of Rs 500.00 per hour shall be recovered.
