Note: - (i) After supply and stacking only\r75% of the payment shall be released . 15% shall be released after putting into track vide relevent item in\rschedule A-II . Remaining 10% shall be paid after complete track linking work and verification of quantity with\rquantity as per actual ballast x-section /profile of the linked track over finished stretches of about 1.5 KM-2.0 KM\ras per direction /approval of Engineer. (ii) Even after complete payment the contractor is not absolved of their\rresponsibility of preventing the theft/ loss of the ballast and any deficiency shall to be made up by the contractor\rat his own cost. For any deficiency not made up a penalty @ two times the accepted rate for the deficient quantity\rshall be recovered from contractor's bills/other payments with Railways.
