However, The Quantity May Vary And Payment Shall Not Be Made For Increase In The Quantity.All Equipment, Tools And Tackles (Non-Sparking Tools) Of All Sizes , Manpower And Equipment Like Jcb, Poclain, Cranes, Closed Containers To Avoid Spillage Of Sludge, Gully Suckers, Air Compressors And Tractor Trailer Etc Required Removal Of Sludge Are In The Scope Of Agency.A) The Agency To Arrange For Required Number Of Eductors And Lighting Inside The Tank (Flame Proof) During Removal Of Sludge From Inside The Tank.B) If Required, The Agency Shall Carry Out Cold Cutting Of The Steam Coil And Stack It Inside The Tank Farm After Sludge And Oil Removal From The Steam Coil Pipes. C) The Agency Can Make Shell Coupon Cutting For Providing Easy Access Into The Tank For Sludge Removal. Cutting At Two Or More Opposite Locations Can Be Done With Prior Approval.Also Based On The Requirement, The Agency Shall Mobilise Poclain To Enter Inside The Tank For Removal Of Sludge.D) The Collected Sludge/Oil To Be Transported And Unloaded In Sludge Lagoons At Designated Location Inside Refinery /Atp.E) Once The Sludge In The Tank Is Removed To The Maximum Extent Possible To The Satisfaction Of Hpcl, Agency To Carry Out Water Jet Cleaning Of All Tank Internal Parts And Tank Roof With Fire Water Jet And Make The Tank Hydrocarbon Free. This Confirmation To Be Obtained From Operations.F) As Per The Requirement, Agency Shall Sprinkle Sand And Remove The Sticky Sludge From Tank Bottom For Making The Tank Hydrocarbon Free To Get Hot Work Permit For Modification Works Of Tank. The Oil Sand Shall Be Transported To The Designated Location Inside Refinery/Atp And Should Not Be Left Inside The Tank Farm.
