    Tender Details

    Supply And Commissioning Of Instruments Under New Poly :- 111 Length Comparator. The Construction Of The Instrument Shall Be As Given In Figure 1 Or Figure 2 In Is:9459. The Measuring Instrument In The Length Comparator Shall Be A High Grade Micrometer Having A Range Of At Least 10Mm And Graduated To Read In 0.002Mmunits, Accurate With In 0.002 Mm In Any 0.020Mm Range Or A Suitable Dial Gauge Rigidly Mounted In A Measuring Frame And Shall Have A Conical Spindle. Reference Bar Shall Be Of Stainless Steel Having A Coefficient Of Thermal Expansion Not Greater Than 2˟10=6 / ”C. The Reference Bar Shall Have An Overall Diameter Of 20Mm And Of ( 300 ) - ( -0 ) - ( +1.5 ) Mm Or ( 150 ) - ( -0 ) - ( +1.5 ) Mm Length . The Length Of The Reference Bar Shall Be Standardized At A Particular Temperature And Calibration Charts Shall Be Provided For Reading Length At Different Temperatures. The Central 100Mm Length Of The Bar Shall Be Covered With Insulating Material Such As 6Mm Tick Rubber .The Bar Shall Be Provided With A Positioning Mark Near One End.Material Used For The Construction Of Different Parts Of The Length Comparator Shall Be As Follows.Base – Channel Mild Steel ( Is:226 ) Pillars – Mild Steel ( Is:226 ) Bracket - Mild Steel ( Is:226 ) Reference Bar – Stainless Steelrubber Tube- Rubber 112 Single Pan Balance Dial Type - 10Kg Capacity 113 Single Pan Balance Dial Type- 1K The Weighing Machine Shall Comply With The General Requirements Specified In Is:1432 In Addition The Weighing Machine Shall Comply With The Requirements Given Below .
