Cork County Council is responsible for Oil/HNS Spill planning for the areas under it's control in Cork County along with the coastline in the event of an oil/HNS pollution incident. Cork County Council are now setting up a 4 year framework which will be used for engaging a Tier 2 Contractor in the event of a major Oil/HNS pollution incident to supplement Cork County Council's current Tier 1 resource.
