Individual Consultant- Community Engagement Consultant The Consultant Will Play An Important Role In Communicating And Interacting With The Affected Persons Within The Resettlement Area Of Impact. Under The Supervision Of The Resettlement Action Plan Implementation Team Leader (Rapi Team Leader) In The Nrpb, The Consultant Will Engage With The Project Affected People In The Resettlement Area Of Impact As Per The Rap, Livelihood Restoration Plan, And Stakeholder Engagement Plan To Ensure Effective Communication Between Affected People And The Nrpb. The Consultant Will Be In Constant Communication With Community And Project Affected Persons On Matters Regarding Resettlement Implementation Activities And Timeline, Compensation Payment Timeline And Procedure, Grievance Redress Mechanism And Grievance Redress Timeline, And The Livelihood Restoration Activities And Timeline. The Consultant Will Be Collecting Grievances And Keep Grievance Redress Tracker, Grievance Register And Grievance Resolution Records In Conjunction With Other Nrpb Resettlement Team Members. The Consultant Will Coordinate With Nrpb Colleagues On The Resolution Of Grievances And May Have A Role In The Investigation Of A Complaint And The Resolution Thereof. Based On The Resettlement Grievance Management Procedure, The Consultant Will Also: Ensures Grievance Mechanism Procedures And Contact Information Are Communicated And Understood By Project Affected Persons (Paps). Receives Grievances Directly From The Complainant Or From The Nrpb Person Who Received The Grievance. Centralizes All Grievances In A Single Management Tool (I.E., Grievance Matrix). Administrates Grievances Resolution (Coordinates Investigations, Keeps The Rapi Team Leader Informed And Involved In The Resolution/Decision-Making). Develops Weekly Grievance Reports For Submission To Grievance Committee. Executes Agreed Upon Resolution Actions. The Consultant Will Actively Contribute To Interviewing And Collecting Data From Paps In A Questionnaire To Assess And Advise Paps Towards Livelihood Restoration Program Options. The Consultant Will Provide Support And Assistance To The Edmp Project In Organizing Of Workshops, Meetings, And Consultations With The Paps. The Consultant Will Manage The Communication (Social Networking, Individual And Group Meetings, Messaging, Calls, Etc.) With The Paps The Consultant Will Ensure A Mix Of Communication Channels To Reach Out To Displaced And Vulnerable Paps Especially Women And Children. The Consultant Will Liaise With Nrpb Colleagues, Social Development Specialists And Other Groups Within The Unit To Develop And Promote The Use Of Consistent Approaches To Community Engagement. The Consultant Will Provide Input To Reporting Obligations Of The Nrpb On The Edmp Project And Will Perform Any Other Tasks Related To The Assignment As Required By The Rapi Team Leader.
