Tenders Are Invited For Conduct A Baseline Survey Of Building Resilient Livelihood For The Most Vulnerable. Islamic Relief Worldwide (Irw) Is An International Relief And Development Agency That Was Established In Birmingham, The Uk In 1984. Islamic Relief (Ir) Began Relief Work In Ethiopia In 2000 In Response To The Severe Drought That Plagued Great Parts Of The Somali Region. Four Years After First Started Working In The Country, Ir Officially Opened An Office In The Country In 2004. Since 2004, Islamic Relief (Ir) Has Been Operational In Ethiopia Delivering Humanitarian Assistance And Implementing Development Interventions. Working With The Local Communities And Government, Ir Managed To Reach Millions Of Vulnerable Communities In Remote Pastoralist Areas And The Very Urban Poor. Given This, Ir Ethiopia (Ire) Is Intending To Conduct A Baseline Survey For The Project Entitled The Project Building Resilient Livelihood For The Most Vulnerable Community Members In Elkare And Chereti Of Somali Regional State, Ethiopia Which Will Be Implemented For 2 And Half Years In Partnership With Ir Canada Addressing Vulnerable Pastoralist And Agro-Pastoralist Community Members. The Major Components Of The Project That Are Planned To Achieve Are Water Supply For Human And Livestock Consumption As Well As Irrigation, Agricultural Production (Livestock And Farming), And Livelihood Diversification Especially Income-Generating Activities Targeting To Reach A Total Of 52,795 People Directly With A Total Budget Of 1,500,000 Cad With Three Years Of Project Life. The Overall Purpose Of The Baseline Study Is To Obtain Data To Set Baseline Figures For Each Indicator Against Which The Performance Of The Project For Future Monitoring And Evaluation. Data Obtained From The Baseline Survey Will Also Be Utilized To Inform The Project Interventions And Implementation Strategies. Therefore, Interested And Competent Individuals/Firms Can Collect The Detailed Tender Document From Ir Country Office Located Beside Gorgorios, Roundabout Wello Sefer, Ethio-China Road.
