Tenders Are Invited For Green Road Development For Water In The Sebeya Catchment RwandaScope Of The Study1 Conduct Desk Review On Different Strategic Rwb Documents And Make A Reconnaissance Of The Project Area With Google Maps Earth To Identify Areas Of Interest In Sebeya Data Gathering And Preliminary Studies The Feeder Roads Identified Under The World Bank Program Can Form A Starting Point In This Assessment 2 Conduct Field Assessment Through Transect Drive Walk Along Selected Roads From Desk Review 3 Evaluate The Hydrological Factors At The Specific Sites Selected And Their Effects On Runoff Generation E G Analyse The Potential Linkage Between Road Drainage And The Creation Of Gullies Mostly Encountered In The Intervention Area 4 Based On The Existing Village Land Use Action Planning Vluap Assess The Feeder Roads Drainage System 5 Develop General Technical Guidelines And Recommendations For Green Roads Taking Into Consideration Of Improving Positive Impacts On Landscape Towards The Enhancement Of Their Functionality For Instance Selected Native And Exotic Tree And Shrub Plantation Along The Roads Serving As Corridors For Biodiversity And Ecosystem Stability 6 For Selected Roads Establish Rehabilitation Needs And Design Needs With Consideration Of Recommendations Of The Gr4w Guidelines Including The Expected Positive Change In Catchment Floodplain And Or Wetland Hydrology And Enhancement Of Green Roadsides As Functional Landscape Corridors This Design Should Be An Aid In Designing River Crossings In A Manner That Is Environmentally And Technically Correct And Which Make The Roads Sustainable Biodiversity Friendly Useful For Water Storage Flood Retention And Controlling Run Off And For Enhancing Catchment Restoration 7 Develop Implementation Plan For Rehabilitation Choice Of Design Type Site Criteria And Costs 8 Invite Input From And Present The Progress And Results Of The Work To Iucn Rwb Rtda And Other Stakeholders At Different Stages Of The Study I E Inception Interim And Final Stage Of The Report Work Presentation Of Draft And Final Assessment ReportsThe Draft Inception Interim And Final Reports Should Be Submitted To Iucn And Rwb The Approval Process Will Include Presentations Of The Findings To The Appropriate Stakeholders That Includes Rtda And Others Deemed Necessary Then Submission Of The Draft And Final Reports Follows Vi Duration Of The Assignment The Assignment Will Take A Total Of 60 Days Ii Submissions Should Indicate Name Of Company Green Road Development For Water In Sebeya Catchments Rwanda In The Subject Line Iii Deadline For Submissions Is August 13 2021 17 00 Cat Submission Received After The Due Date Or Submissions That Do Not Conform To The Requirements Specified In These Terms Of Reference Will Be Automatically Disqualified
