Expression of Interest are invited for Consultancy Services to Conduct a Physical Infrastructure Assessment of the Department of Correctional Services Adult and Juvenile Centres Objective of the Project To undertake a comprehensive assessment and review of all the Correctional Centres physical structures in an effort to inform the development and implementation of a comprehensive rehabilitation reconstruction programmeScope of Works SOW include The conduct of systematic physical and structural assessments to identify document measure existing deficiencies and develop detailed cost estimates to overhaul the various Centres The SOW will be broken down in phases Phase 1 Document ReviewConduct a review of all reports correspondences received from external entities such as INDECOM Office of the Children s Advocate and the Office of the Public Defender to assess points of convergence and divergence in terms of the physical state of the correctional institutions In addition this should cover the review of relevant internal documents including the DCS own Building Defects Report Consulting Firms must provide information to indicate the following Experience in undertaking similar type projects Number of years in business and specifically years undertaking similar projects Managerial and Technical capabilities Expertise and or training in Correctional security management and operation of Correctional Centres Availability of key personnel should possess
