eConsult Consulting Service for Off grid Minigrid and Clean Cooking Rapid Market AssessmentThe HOA RISES project intends to support the delivery of off grid clean cooking and possibly mini grid solutions to a few selected pilot sites in the borderlands with a particular focus on households and social institutions e g health education telco towers veterinary posts street lighting The assignment entails an assessment of both market demand and supply for these technologies in selected representative sites to inform project areas and provision of practical recommendations for service delivery The assessment and the findings will be gender disaggregated and will factor in the existing regulatory environment for each country as well as existing World Bank engagements with related implementing arrangements The findings and recommendations of this assignment will inform the World Bank engagement and project design The geographic scope of the analysis entails borderland areas of Djibouti Ethiopia Kenya and Somalia
