Expression of Interest are invited for Supporting the Implementation of Kenya s National Green Economy Strategy through the Development of Low Carbon Projects and Resource Mobilization Review Financial Statements of the ProjectThe Consultancy service is expected to include the following main tasks Review documents relating to the use of the Special Account SA Obtain limited assurance primarily by performing inquiry and analytical procedures about whether the financial statements as a whole are free from material misstatement and to express a conclusion on whether anything has come to his her attention that causes the auditor to believe that the financial statements are not prepared in all material respects in accordance with an applicable financial reporting framework Form a conclusion report on the financial statements as a whole and communicate as required by the International Standards on Review Engagements ISRE 2400 Obtain limited assurance whether the project program books of accounts provide the basis for preparation of the Project Financial Statements PFSs by the Project Implementing Unit PIU and are established to reflect the financial transactions in respect of the project program The PIU maintains adequate internal controls and supporting documentation for transactions Verify that the PFSs have been prepared in accordance with agreed accounting standards refer to paragraph III above and give a true and fair view of the financial position of the project at the relevant date Prepare a review report and Management Letter in accordance with the International Standards on Review Engagement ISRE 2400
