Request for proposals are invited for Developing Public Communication and Outreach Strategy Close Date 28 06 2021III Project Background The Monitoring Women s Peace and Security phase II MWPSII project is financially supported by Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands for a four year period January 2021 to December 2024 The project is implemented in 34 provinces of Afghanistan Balkh Kunduz Faryab Herat Daikundi Uruzgan Bamyan Parwan Kabul Nangarhar Paktia Kandahar Helmand Laghman and Badakhshan Farah Paktika Khost Ghazni Logar Kunar Noristan Panjshir Takhar Samangan Maidan Wardak Zabul Ghor Sarpol Jowzjan Badghis Nimroz Kapisa The project objectives are 1 Enhance existing and new PWNs capacity to collect and use evidence for advocacy purposes establishing new PWNs in 19 provinces and supporting all 34 PWNs to conduct research and participatory analysis on relevant policy issues 2 Stimulate systematic responsiveness and accountability from security justice and governance duty bearers and power holders on the basis of effective mobilization and advocacy by women and 3 Promote inclusion of women s voices in Afghan peace processes at all levels
