Request for Expression of Interest for Consultancy Services for Development of a High Resolution Integrated Flood Risk Management Plan for the Shire River Basin and Design including Construction Supervision of Associated InterventionsThe consulting services the Services include the development of a High Resolution Integrated Flood Risk Management Plan for the Shire River Basin and Design and Construction Supervision of Associated Interventions The implementation period for the assignment is 24 months The Secretary to the Ministry of Forestry and Natural Resources now invites eligible consulting firms Consultants to indicate their interest in providing the Services Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services The shortlisting criteria are Core business of the firm s and years in business Relevant experience which should specifically include the following Conducting multi hazard probabilistic risk assessments hazards and vulnerability in developing countries with limited data available Conducting hydrological and hydraulic modeling flood hazard assessment and providing risk reduction recommendations Design and construction supervision of flood risk reduction interventions Conducting training and building capacities for ensuring sustainability of interventions using innovative methodologies to involve stakeholder andExperience in similar assignment in the Sub Saharan African region or any other region with similar environment
