eConsult Pacific Labor Mobility SurveyThe World Bank is undertaking a comprehensive assessment of the economic and social impacts of three labor migration schemes on participating workers and their households The schemes are Australia Seasonal Worker Programme and Pacific Labour Scheme and New Zealands Recognised Seasonal Employer scheme The assessment entails conducting a series of quantitative surveys to collect information on characteristics of temporary migrant workers and their households as well as potential implications of the abovementioned labor migration schemes on workers economic and social wellbeing The surveys are planned to be longitudinal with the first round being completed by September 2021 Information collected through this survey will feed into various analytical products and advisory services related to labor mobility in the Pacific that the World Bank is committed to The World Bank is seeking qualified and experienced survey firm s to conduct these surveys The selected survey firm s henceforth the Vendor will report to and work closely with the World Banks Task Team which consists of Bank staff from the Social Protection and Jobs Global Practice The Vendors primary responsibility would be to administer the surveys in a country or countries as designated by the Task Team and report collected data to the Task Team The designation of the country or countries will be determined based on the Vendors technical qualification and experience The Vendor will be expected to assist the Task Team in customizing the survey instruments and data collection process to local contexts
