Tenders are invited for Fixing of New Supplies and Road Reinstatement in Six Water Supply Zones Pre bid meeting to be held at the Bid Opening Room Level 1 CWA Headoffice St Paul Phoenix on Wednesday 16 June 2021 at 10 00 hours Local Time The contract comprises of a Excavation for locating and exposing the service main and excavation for the laying of polyethylene individual household communication pipes b Tapping by means of tapping machine or as approved by the Engineer for A C C I D I and P E pipes and providing new supplies to individual consumers In the case of P E pipes connection have to be done by electrofusion c Fixing of meter chambers installation of stops and meters d Excavation for exposing service mains to enable repairs e Reinstatement of road f Disconnection and re opening of supplies on service mains The works will be located all over Mauritius and which for contractual reasons will be zoned as follows Zone 1 Port Louis Water Supply System spreading over the districts of Port Louis and part of Black RiverZone 2 DWS North System spreading over the districts of Pamplemousses and Riviere Du RempartZone 3 DWS East System spreading over the district of Flacq Zone 4 DWS South System spreading over the districts of Grand Port and SavanneZone 5 Mare aux Vacoas MAV Upper System spreading over the districts of Plaine Wilhems and MokaZone 6 Mare aux Vacoas MAV Lower System spreading over the districts of Lower Plaine Wilhems and Black River
