Polk County is requesting proposals from reputable and qualified Vendor Contractors for providing all labor equipment and materials required and necessary to repair and or replace three 3 existing inoperable weather sirens repair and or replace and relocate one 1 existing inoperable weather warning siren and add an additional siren location to be determined in unincorporated Polk County Georgia BIDDERS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND AN ONSITE PRE PROPOSAL MEETING WHICH IS SCHEDULED FOR WEDNESDAY APRIL 14 2021 AT 10 00AM THE PRE PROPOSAL MEETING WILL BEGIN ON SITE AT POLK COUNTY EMA FACILITY LOCATED AT 55 CLINE INGRAM JACKSON ROAD CEDARTOWN GA 30125 ALL EXISTING AND PROPOSED SIREN SITES WILL BE VISITED DURING THIS MEETING IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF ALL VENDOR CONTRACTORS TO HAVE A THOROUGH UNDERSTANDING OF THE EXISTING SIRENS AND RELATED EQUIPMENT PRIOR TO SUBMITTING A PROPOSAL VENDOR CONTRACTORS MUST PROVIDE THEIR OWN TRANSPORTATION
