Pacific Private Sector Development Initiative Phase Iv Digital Gender Divide AuditsTo Better Understand And Address The Digital Gender Divide In The Pacific The Asian Development Bank S Pacific Private Sector Development Initiative Psdi Is Seeking A Firm To Measure The Digital Gender Divide In Up To Four Pacific Island Countries These Assessments Will Gather Evidence In Key Areas Linked To The Digital Gender Divide To Assess The Extent Of The Digital Gender Divide In Each Country Based On This Analysis The Reports Will Also Include A Series Of Recommendations Outlining Measures To Close The Digital Gender Divide Including Creating A More Inclusive Policy And Regulatory Environment Psdi Will Use The Recommendations To Advocate For Reform Where Relevant To Its Work Program And Share The Findings Widely For Use By Policy Makers And Other Development Actors To Address The Digital Gender Divide So That Women Can Benefit Equally From Developments In Digital Access Across The Region The Purpose Of This Research Is To Collect And Analyse Data To Develop 3 4 Country Reports Measuring The Digital Gender Divide In Selected Pacific Countries A Common Methodology Will Be Developed And Applied To Each Selected Country The Assignment Has The Following Objectives 1 To Develop Adapt Methodology For The Pacific To Assess The Digital Gender Divide In 3 4 Countries 2 Draft A Report Presenting Data For Each Country Against Standard Criteria And Developing Recommendations For Policy Makers And Development Actors To Address Digital Gender Divide In Each Country The Research Will Identify And Measure Key Aspects Of The Digital Gender Divide Including Policy And Regulatory Environment For Inclusive Digital Access Including Online Safety Access Affordability Digital Literacy Socio Cultural And Institutional ContextThe Report Will Be Published So That Findings Are Widely Available Government Civil Society The Private Sector And Development Actors To Inform Policy And Programming On Digital Access
