Primary Education Improvement ProjectThe Project Will Include The Following Components Component 1 Improving Learning At The School LevelThe Objective Of This Component Is To Improve Conditions For Learning At The School Level Through A The Revision And Use Of School Improvement Plans Sips Focusing On Improving Student Learning Supported By School Grants To Build On Schools Preexisting Level Of Decision Making Autonomy B The Upgrading Of The Physical Learning Environment Supported Through Centrally Procured Investments And C The Sharing Of Information To Promote Accountability Amongst Others The Following Activities Will Be Financed Under This Component Of The Project Technical Assistance For Revision Of School Improvement Framework Consulting Services Technical Assistance To Primary Schools For Preparation Of Sips Consulting Services Upgrading Of The Physical Learning Environment School Furniture Science Labs And Ict Equipment Goods Updating Of Learning Resources With Teaching And Learning Materials Goods Component 2 Reform Of The Monitoring And Evaluation Of National Progress In LearningThe Objective Of This Component Is To Improve The Student Assessment System At The Primary Level Through A The Development Of The National Assessment Program Nap And B Dissemination And Utilization Of Assessment Data At School And Central Levels Amongst Others The Following Activities Will Be Financed Under This Component Of The Project Technical Assistance And Strengthening Of National Examination Center And Ministry Of Education And Science Capacities For Development And Implementation Of Nap And Training For Data Analysis And Reporting Following International Standards Consulting Services Component 3 Enhancing Teacher Multi Professional Support Teams And School Leader CompetenciesThe Objective Of This Component Is To Improve Competencies Of School Staff Through A Implementation Of Professional Standards And B Modernization Of In Service Professional Development Programs Amongst Others The Following Activities Will Be Financed Under This Component Of The Project Technical Assistance For Operationalization Of Teacher Multi Professional Support Teams And School Leader Standards And Career Development Procedures Consulting Services Technical Assistance For Introducing Changes To Pre Service Teacher Training Consulting Services Component 4 Sector Management Project Management And M EThis Component Will Support The Day To Day Management Of Project Implementation And Monitoring And Evaluation Of Its Objectives And Outcomes This Component Will Finance The Activities That Would Ensure Effective Administration And Implementation Of The Project By Supporting A The Operation And Strengthening Of The Pmu Including The Provision Of Operating Costs And B Development And Implementation Of An M E System For The Project In Addition This Component Will Support Analytical Work Related To The Primary Education Sector Efficiency And Feasibility And Necessary Preconditions Required To Implement Recommendations
