Regional Trade Facilitation And Transport Sector Review For The Southern African CountriesWhilst There Has Been A Considerable Amount Of Earlier Work Undertaken In The Region There Has Not Been A Comprehensive Stocktaking And Review Of The Current And Expected Pinchpoints On The Freight Transport Network This Proposed Study Will Fill An Important Gap Currently Undertaking An Up To Date Stocktaking Of The Hard And Soft Impediments On The Key Corridors Of Interest This Assignment Seeks To Address This Gap And Involves A Comprehensive Review Of The Current Situation For The First Time In Many Years And The Identification Of Key Interventions Hard And Soft Over A Defined Forecasting Period To 2050 As An Input Into The Discussion And Agreement With Key National And Regional Stakeholders As To The Regional Priorities To Improve Transport Connectivity And Efficiency Of Trade Flows In Southern Africa
