Recruitment Of A Procurement Specialist On Behalf Of The Ucp Praps NigerRegional Sahel Pastoralism Support ProjectThe Development Objective Of Praps Pdo Aims To Improve Access To Essential Means And Production Services And To Markets For Pastoralists And Agro Pastoralists In Selected Cross Border Areas And Along Transhumance Axes In The Six Countries Of The Sahel And Improve The Capacity Of These Countries To Respond On Time And Effectively In The Event Of Pastoral Crises Or Emergencies In This Way The Proposed Project Will Support The Improvement Of Productivity Sustainability And Resilience Of Pastoral Livelihoods As A Priority In The Nouakchott Declaration On Pastoralism The Project Is Organized Into The Following 5 Components Improved Animal Health Ii Improvement Of Natural Resource Management Iii Facilitation Of Market Access Iv Improvement Of Pastoral Crisis Management V Project Management The Government Of Niger Intends To Use Part Of The Credit From The World Bank To Recruit A Procurement Specialist Spm To Support The Implementation Of The Project The Spm Will Sign A Performance Contract With The Project Coordination To Ensure Timely I Regular Production Of Updates To The Project Procurement Plan Ii Monthly Activity Report Iii The Quality Of Procurement Files Including Those Subject To The Banks No Objection Opinion And Iv Updating Of Acquisition Records To Serve As A Support For Post Market Reviews Of Contracts Pprs That The Bank Will Carry Out The Spm Will Submit To The Project Coordination Unit A Quarterly Activity Report No Later Than Fifteen 15 Days After The End Of The Quarter To Which It Relates And A Final Report At The End Of The Mandate These Reports Will Also Include Recommendations On All Aspects Which Negatively Affect Procurement And Should Be Submitted In Duplicate To The Coordination The Spm Will Contribute To The Various Reports On The Progress Of The Project And To The Financial Reports If Required
